No one is banned since last wave of bans in august. No one. Doesn't matter what are you doing.
But if you want to know if some account is flagged and will be banned with the next ban wave, no one can answer this question, because no one can know about flags.
At what date in August?I've had one account banned after the august ban wave, which wasn't using this bot but another one![]()
At what date in August?
Are you sure you was banned after wave or did you just realize after wave you are banned (e.g. you didn't use it for week or two)?

Thank you for information!Just had a level 22 account banned today!
Thank you for information!
Please describe your bot and settings. How long do you have it. Do you snipe. Whats your speed. How long per day. Etc.
Thank you in advance.
No snipe, stayed local with in 30kms of actual place. Used iphone and PF seperate and logged in with real life time from botting spot to where phone is. Normal settings in the bot, no massive evolution sessions etc. Always walking speed. Approx 6-8 hours every couple of days. Might have been an accidental all night bot session once.
I don't think getting banned right now has anything relation to what settings you are using.
I am botting 12-16 hours a day with jogging speed for 3-4 weeks now without a ban. (pokemon/pokestop per hour counter standard settings) BUT i didn't log into the account for ~2 weeks. I think that the point.
There is still some ban flag thing going on if you login on a device after you botted and in my oppinion it makes no difference if you do it within 30 minutes or wait several hours.
yes, I have other accounts much higher which hae not been banned. This ban is very random. It isn't inline with Niantics massive ban waves.

What is your opinion what should we do best? Because at the end of the day earlier or later you will log in from legit device. Should I boot to level I want with no logins and then wait for 1-2-3 days and then login? There is still some ban flag thing going on if you login on a device after you botted and in my oppinion it makes no difference if you do it within 30 minutes or wait several hours.

If you want to be as safe as possible:
- Bot in same area as your IP
- Bot as long as you would play yourself
- Make breaks! Rather start the bot 5 times a day with different durations than let it run 1 time for x hours (Not wait at Pokestop, real breaks like turn pf off)
- Don't bot on unsecure(*) PF versions
- Don't log in on smartphone, just a minute after you stopped the bot
From a technical point of view it doesn't make any difference if you wait 1 hour or 1 day, to use pokemon go on your smartphone again. As long as you bot in the same area, you can log in on your smartphone within minutes after you turned off PF. If Niantic is able to detect, whether you're using PF or not, it doesn't make any difference to wait x hours or days.
*unsecure in the meaning of, only bot on PF versions that 100% support the current api. For the current version that would mean, don't bot or bot on another account.
Thank you very much.
One more question.
I am confused often to hear about "Bot in same area as your IP". I have international mobile provider. Very often I get "USA"-IP but I am in Europe. So I don't understand what is this "same area". If we would talk about my home IP, my fixed network IP- no question. But mobile IP is not geographic, it can be whatever and whenever. What do you think about it?
