Has anyone been banned since the initial banwave (12/18/12)?

I had Demonbuddy for about a week before the banwave on the 18th. I hadn't used it for about two days before hand and still was one of the lucky ones to get banned. Now I have a year subscription left for Demonbuddy, and am thinking about getting another Diablo account and try again. This being my first time botting any Blizzard game, I wanted to see people's oppinions on whether it's worth it or not to try again. Has anyone been banned since the intial banwave? I've read the forums and it's just full of people that are either butt hurt or lucky and didn't get caught. Thanks

Well, I started up 3 bots as soon as DB was up and running again. So far I have earned more than 500 mill gold... I'd say I'm about half way in getting even with the cost of the new accounts.

If they each reach paragon 100 in 18 days time or so, then I will just sell them and make new accounts... That's my plan anyways. I hope I wont get banhammered until then ;-).

so u bot 24/7 literally ? how much waitime between games do u set? and have u gotten any mule account banned yet? i have a mule acc with low playtime and no gear, looks really weird when i sell mass of items on rmah, cos my mule obviously didnt farm all that stuff, whats ur opinion on this?

Yeah, I bot 24/7 - however I do restart the VMware once every 24 hours... Just to "reset the timer", so to speak.

Yes, I use a mule account... It has a paragon lvl 50ish char on it. I play it ocassionally... and I do all my "AH farming" from it. Makes it less suspect if it's an actively played account.

Personally I wouldn't have a lvl 1 mule acc... but many have gotten by just fine with it. It's a matter of personal taste I guess x).

I use 10 - 20 sec wait time.


Edit: Haven't got my mule acc banned yet, no x).

lucky you, I got 3 accounts right after the ban, got them running and have only accrued 100 million. clearly im doing something wrong.

Pure Gold Farming is more profitable than Champ Item Farming if you took into account that >90% of the gold farming bot accounts survived the 18/12 banwave.

yeah ive moved to gold farming, previously did champ farming and my accts got banned. gold farming is way cheaper to gear the toons, and so much easier to manage the bots since you dont have to worry about IDing lots of items, deciding what to AH etc. just transfer the gold and you're done. yeah im not gonna find a lot of $100 RMAH items anymore but i just don't want too many headaches anymore, that's my new year resolution

Might I ask a few questions? Hell/inferno? MP lvl?, what do you usually get in terms of player stats, hp, dmg, res, mf, gf etc. and GPH? (still new to this dunno what I should be doing yet )

If i lose those new 6 fresh accounts on wich i botted very carefully only a few hours a day, then to hell with DB and their statement of not being detected!!
