Has anybody been using HB for 3-6 months without a ban?

I've been looking through the forums trying to get an indication of whether there is anybody out there that has been succesfully running the bot in a "safe" way (aka. not 24/7 babysitting it while it does stuff for you etc etc) that has not been banned for anywhere from 3-6 months.

As a newbie to botting most if not all of the feedback from the forum threads seem to suggest that it is all incredibily unsafe...

For example - I used to bot on League of Legends with a program that didn't AFK play for you but you literraly pressed space bar when you wanted it to do stuff like rotations and everything. I did this for years even through all the ban-waves and was never detected. The key to not getting banned was to basically not be too suspicious.

I guess I'm looking for some encouraging success stories that are RECENT.

I'm gonna tell you now, there's a lot of doom and gloom. But 90% of honorbuddy users are all gold farmers / going super hard with their accounts. That's why honorbuddy is releasing Legionbuddy. There's a number of us who like the combat routines with honorbuddy because they are all around the best routines for pve/pvp. I've used a few others and none come close aside from ones who literally hack the game, which is not cool in my book. So these bans you're seeing are people who are definitely afk botting or suiciding their accounts 24/7 for gold profit.

I use honorbuddy PURELY and ONLY has a combat rotation handler and as long as you don't set your settings to interrupt at like 3-11% and you set it more like 24-52% through the cast, then you're fine. Even waiting until 80-90% is okay. You'll still catch it. Handle the movement yourself, don't EVER let the bot take over 100%. And stop using honorbuddy and start using legionbuddy when it comes out. It's sub based, but it's incredibly low-key so, chances are you won't get detected unless you're doing something silly like 1%-4% cast time interrupts. Also don't leave your combat routine running while afk. Randomly leaping to demolish someone only to not move a muscle is uh... just kinda suspicious.

I've been through 2-3 banwaves using ONLY combat rotations and I make them believable and I control the bursts because they're store routines. Don't use singular. All the gold farm bots use it so you'll look just like them. And definitely, never, never never never ever bot BG's or something like mining or herbalism. You -should- be fine. But hey, a wild squirrel catches a nut every once in a while so clench your buttocks every time a banwave is coming up just in case.

Yes but in my example there have been at least 5-10 banwaves in league of legends but I survived all of them by being subtle and disciplined with how I used the hack. Hence, my question was questioning whether it's possible by being a bit subtle on how you use the bot, to evade a banwave or is it truly just inevitable.

It's half and half, man. It's easily avoidable if you do like you do with league of legends. I used to orbwalk too. Actually quit league when the orbwalker I used stopped functioning, lmao. Never got banned. And the ONLY time I ever got banned on my main account was not combat routines, it was 100% farming for gold (mining and herb) and botting bgs.

HOWEVER. The flipside, like I said, a wild squirrel catches a nut every once in a while. Blizzard's warden being the squirrel and a random, poor unsuspecting subtle botter being the nut.

It is a permanent 10% chance you're gonna get the random banhammer. Not inevitable, but it CAN happen.

My advice, stay out of the botting gig until legionbuddy releases, then use that instead. It'll be a lot safer than honorbuddy.

I've botted since the days of pirox, just casually never going full gold farmer or anything, use combat rotations 90% of the time and am yet to get a warning, so as long as you play smart and have a bit of luck, should be fine .

Ive been using HB for a while now, and i haven had any issues. but i never leave the bot to run alone. i am always sitting here watching it! heres what i have learned.

1. no profile is 100% afk. i dont care what the devs say, i have about 5 profiles that claim to be 100% but almost always get stuck!
2. i pause and chat with my guild or with friends.
3. i dont bot 24/7
4. i dont farm gold.
5. i dont farm mats
6. i use common sense.

I switch between bot and self play often.. so i am always random in my gameplay.

and I NEVER LEAVE THE BOT ALONE. never leave for extended periods of time while botting. thats my 2 cents. good luck!

i botted the same account on ALL expansions.. started with glider/pirox/hb took them untill wod to get the permban on me.. i never sold anything for cash just botted for fun. not interested in going for another run, it seems like they do more to catch botters nowadays

no you haven't. this is total garbage. if you bot more than once a month you've been caught in one of the MANY, MANY waves over the last 2 years. They have often collected information on botters over sometimes 1-2 months then done ban waves.
Also it's not doom and gloom. Honorbuddy is still the best bot, with the best profiles and customer service but it's had a very rough year in detections and nobody can deny that. You used to be able to get away with 1-2 years before you'd get suspended, this is definitely not longer the case.

There was a huge break in your subscription all this really shows is that you haven't been using the bot all the time. Pretty much an entire yeah actually. It looks like you did what I did. I stopped playing for a year, and missed the huge ban waves. You likely got really lucky, and were not using the bot when the protection was void. IE when Blizzard was detecting the HB server directly. Your comment gives a false presentation of what you really do.

I also personally believe a few things, like some people don't tell the truth on what they did to get banned. And also certain criteria that's blizzard looks for, like all the recent ban reports for firelands...

Like anything else there's high risk and low risk behavior.

I have used other accounts aswell this one was just my most active account either way I have been botting 2 years ... I never did say consecutively on the same account or anything such as that

You're all giving advice here on how to avoid getting banned by botting safely and how doing that you've succeeded in evading banwaves. Only reason why you haven't been banned is because you've been lucky, this guy asking isn't going to inherit your luck by reading your responses.
You know why people have been banned lately? Because the bot is detected. DO NOT BOT ON AN ACCOUNT YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO LOSE.
You can follow these tips all you want, it's not going to change that. At this point I haven't seen any evidence confirming that the bot is no longer detected. So, until we have confirmation on that, there is no point in assuming the safety tips will make you untouchable.

I got caught 3 times in my whole hb lifetime.
Since 2012 by playing daily.

I have done it all.
Since WoD pve content only with manual movement.
I also started to be more careful with what I can do and not to do since my first suspension.

Ban times;
May 2015 main account,
Dec 2015 main account after 6 month been lifted.
It's waiting it's 180 days now.
Second account that I made during my main suspension got suspended may 2016 and it is waiting his 6 months.
Now playing on 3th account and waiting for legion actually ^^

Edit: also waiting for a good CR for warriors since there is non except singular which I find not so good, to obvious. I mean a good CR is basic rotation with proper logic and semi/manual CD usage.

Im also very excited for Legionbuddy

All suspension were due to detections.
hb is safe until cat wins again.
