Hardcore botting?

did it last season. same as sc, the only thing you must get sure is, that you survive a disconnect (hence, you must have enough thoughness and life reg/sec)

Did it last season with deamon hunters. Some things to be aware of in HC:
- Trials are super dangerous for the bot. The monster scaling can sky rocket from one wave to another and cause an easy death even with the stop at wave timer as the bot will try to port out and usually just takes a beating doing it.
- If you use armory for the love of God check it every time you start up db or turn it off entirely. I've had it revert to default settings for no apparent reason and decide to auto equip my characters with sub-optimal gear that got them killed.
- Any profile or plugin updates will likely change how your bot plays and could result in a death in situations that the old settings could handle fine.

Trials aren't as dangerous anymore because the limiting of questtools works perfect.
A pretty good indication on what your toon can handle on hardcore is that he should never loose any life. If you get damage and it isn't immediately (0.5s) healed up you gonna die sometime.

i always bot hardcore, its the only fun aspect of the game for me.
Pet doc is also my fav class
been botting 30 g rifts 24/7 for a while now
using carnevil build, basic pet build works too
class is really good for hc, your dogs can all give you life on hit, and your fetish's make you tougher
all around pet doc is amazing for survival/dmg this season, so they are a great choice

How are you guys dealing with it on hc?
I just died on my barb, cause he wont go up when nerves of steel procs

job2k9 brings up a good point, encountered some very frustrating issues in the past. even a few to be careful of that ive noticed
the easiest way to kill yourself in hardcore is forgetting a setting you changed in DB and switching profiles
i use the brutal key farm profile, and ive noticed that it jacks up minimum trash mob pack size up to 5 automatically
normally this is no big deal but it can get you in serious trouble as it completely affects the whole targetting system. really annoying that it does that and if anyone knows how to turn it off please advise.
I always have it set to 1 to be the most accurate. good thing none of the rift profiles do this.
One issue thats scary cause i cant recreate it is it seems like 5% of the time i pause the bot mid profile on rrix beta rifts, the combat routine will fall off. DB gets spammed full of red error msgs and runs into a 30 +- g rift in my case without a combat routine... Only thing not making this is need to fix is it either happens right away or never, i can bot for 12 hours straight np (only cause stash fills with legs)

Thats why I say when you bot hc you always have to watch if you lose any HP.
Your bot should be able to facetank 2 champion packs and not lose any HP. Only that way you are safe.
Because no bot will ever work flawless, there will always be bugs. Also internet disconnects.
