Which combat routine is better for hardcore botting?

I'm currently botting a monk in HC.

Well my HC hero just died using FunkyBot running rifts on Normal mode...

The bot kept salvaging/selling all my legendaries as well even though I turned salvaging off. Going to try out Trinity now.

I have no experience with Funky, but Trinity is great and has been for a long time. No idea why we need another combat routine. Someone enlighten us?

Well I just used trinity and ran rifts on a HC hero and just died...

I've searched the forums as well for HC setup but really could not find anything to show me if I am doing something wrong.

Funkybot seems to use outdated safespot checking. I am probably 100% wrong with what I think it is. It'll spam found for a safe spot to move to when an elite or champion pack is found and stops doing everything else. My sc toon has died so many times from killable mobs when the bot is doing nothing other than looking for a safe spot to move to, while not actually moving at all. Trinity is much better at being useful more often.

That being said, funkybot seems to be a LOT better at resource management than Trinity. Trinity tandem spams cyclone strike until I have no spirit and at least 25% of the time won't use my primary to build spirit.

Both have their problems, but for HC, funkybot is much more dangerous.
