Hard Banned? Has anyone experienced this?

got banned on one account and not the other, both botting on the same computer, banned one got hit about an hour ago.
 
I'm having the same issue on my bot account with the "Download of player inventory failed." And sure enough, I can't access the account on my mobile devices either (I get the "Failed to get game data from the server." message with the purple "Retry" button. Meanwhile, my non-bot account is able to log in fine from my mobile devices. Thus I'm also worried that this is a ban that is related to botting, but I don't know.

If it helps, here's some more information. I typically run the bot from 2 locations (but not at the same time): my home (while I'm home) and work (while I'm at work). I don't use a VPN. My home and work are 2 blocks away from each other, and my coordinates for the bot are right here in my downtown between my office and work (I happen to be in a location that is relatively dense with players and pokestops). The bot was basically walking in a circle that encompasses my house and my work. The bot was running fine when I turned it off and left work for the evening. An hour later, I tried to start it from home, and that's when I got the errors. So I wasn't transferring or renaming or even online when I got banned, as far as I can tell.

Anyways, I hope it gets fixed soon.
 
Guys keep shutting down and try logging back in. I noticed pokesniper went very quiet when this happened and its back up again now. I am sure it is just server issues and no ban. My account is working fine and I even noticed a lot more pokemon around when everyone else was shut out.
I dont think its a ban.

Just got a message on PokeSnipers : Niantic has introduced new softbans. Please don't snipe too aggressively and wait a couple seconds/minutes between snipes.

This message was on top and dissapear some secs after.

Guess Server Error is the new softban. idk
 
I got this same error. I tried logging into a new account and the same thing happened. I can also log into my accounts fine over mobile. I wouldn't say its a banwave,
 
yes same for me try again later and no message e mail or in game app from a ban or a affectedt time i mean server or what everfailer or Update App shit
 
i can log in on my 4g network and play just fine, but when i go on wifi with my phone and log in i dont see gyms, pokestops en pokemon. i was botting on wifi:"")
 
I cant log into my PTC account but my gmail account is fine. Was botting on both

I logged on from Nox app player (on my main level 30+ acct that I botted somewhat heavily from level 28+ when the grind got too real and saw no pokestops or gyms at all. Logged on via my phone and I'm fine (but I might get a soft ban cause my location on Nox was like 4 hours away from where I live lol.

I have this same issue, I can play and see everything on 4g, but on my home wifi everything is gone. I can still log into my accounts fine. I think it was an IP ban for me. Not sure what to do?
 
me neither, problem is everyone is reporting different issues and niantic also seems to have a few server problems going atm so i dont know what to make out f it

Hmm could be. Here's what you do... you pray to God that they left your account intact and only IP banned you (so far).

i can now see pokestops again on wifi and everything else :)
 
Everybody just stop panicking and relax for a minute. And for God's sake stop yelling: "BAN" as soon as there is a little problem.

People are having different issues and there is no "standard" error at this moment.
Some can a "failed to get data" error, others get blank maps and then some can spin pokestops but the pokemon flee.
It just looks like there is an overload on the servers or maybe they are working on an updated version which causes server downtime.
Think about the new tracking system, maybe they are implementing that now for everyone and it causes the servers to overload.

Just relax and wait it out for a couple of hours before you start yelling "FIRE!" and scare all those precious little botters...
