Seeing as Blizzard does not know your face, it is really easy to fake an ID. Photoshop and a drivers license template is not hard to come by these days.
 
Get authenticator, problem solved. And yeah, chances are slim to none you will get anything back. Tell them to check IPs is about all you can do i would think but do you want them to take a closer look at your account?

I think is is safe if you get the SVN from someone on thebuddyforum, like mine :rolleyes: hehe
The only reson i use SVN is that it would take to long time to update all my 50 profiles one by one here.

But then again, if someone has 4 posts and makes threads like "My super automated all in one makes you?s bot masturbate you teeth off" then you might want to take things :cool:

And yeah, don't mean to sound like a dick but you should never-ever-ever run PB profiles without looking at them first. It's real easy to set them up to post to whoever you like and like spam mail and virii they just take the chance and might get 1 out of every 100 that is on a realm they are on. I dunno, maybe i am just to paranoid but i never run a profile without looking at it first. And if you did get a PB profile from a user here that done that would be nice to name names to get the fuck banned.

Now, sometimes names get left in by accident by profile writers because they forgot to take them out of the settings before upping them, have had a couple like that ;), but that's not quite the same as having code in there to send all your gold to whoever.

This is not HB work then, HB can?t create a new char on your wow account.
 
Well, now i have figured it out! Been speaking to WoW GM, phone support and the CS, everybody is saying that the gold was sent by myself 3 days ago from my own IP address! I suspect that there is smth in my HB that can do that, 2nd option is that some1 has a virus in my pc that allows him to control my PC, which is most unlikely!

I am trying to figure out which pluing, svn or cr any file that can be infected, but not geting much help from moderator! If the community could have any ideas would be appreciated!

Add an authenticator to your account and there is no way HB can gain your password as you run it once you're already pass the login, realm and world servers. The information isn't stored while you play, it is simply used to confirm it is you and to validate your session.

No luck, same thing with me twice.
In 6 years of gaming I've never been scammed(hard) but on wow, yes.
He sold all my gears and took my gold, its was a Japanese guy or a *****(he logged on my facebook I saw the location)
No idea how he did that but he did, congratz to this guys such a nerd.

WoW GM gave my stuff back really fast.
 
Normally the only reason they won't restore the account if the IP address that took the gold has been used before. Or this has happened to you before...


Ether someone you know took it or... you've had this happen before and didn't learn the first time >.>
 
If say, some1 got hacked, and asked Blizz to investigate IPs etc. And say the hacked person has been botting for 20/7 the past 3-4 days, would they be inclined to ban you, rather than assist you?

Also, I'd agree that it's most likely malware, virus etc, but it's a peculiar case.. Did you ever buy/sell Gold to a site? 'Cuz I've been screwed over once (a few years ago before I had HB). I bought like, 10-20 times (small sums), and then suddenly they hacked me. I had stopped playing like a week before, and started getting mails from Blizz. You know, BNet action required etc. And I lost total access ofc, but they only used my account to sell gold and when playtime ran out they dumped the acc. I came back approx a year after I was hacked, made a ticket etc, and Blizz stated that yeah, I was hacked. So they restored my access. But things might have changed now, I took a look at the "X GM Thread" and saw something about Blizz not wanting to restore Gear, Gold etc cuz it's against the core mechanic of the game or something...

Good luck tho, if they'd give you a decent DPS set and a few 100g it'd be pretty easy to start over tho..
 
how you can get hacked when you use a authentificator or arent you?
