Hello HB! I have been trying to see where to add this post but couldnt be sure! So ill go here!

For around 1 week now i have been botting up now with questing, grinding and BGs with repair+mail activated to my other toon.
Yesterday i log in and i see that ALL my gold, and ONLY the gold have been sent away! I made a ticket, and GM said since i havent been hacked and that gold
was only sent away, "probably by myself" (NOT ME) they cant help me out. So i am asking the community if this has happend to anyone else?

Ill make come things clear now, Nobody in my apartment has ANY idea about WoW nor Honorbuddy, i have 2 other cousins that plays WoW and they have never been to my apartment.
So either its the bot that has sent ONLY the gold somewhere, or i currently have "Paranormal Activity Ghosts" in my apartment that also like gold on WoW, and they hacked me! :@

So if it is that, what can i do?
And is there anything WoW can do to get gold back? Anything anyone? I dont whant to play anymoore when im bankrupt, cant even start from somewhere to gain new gold?
 
Happened me aswell when I used ProffesionBuddy(AHBuddy). I don't download anything bad, ever.
I have Comodo Firewall, Antivir Antivirus and scan daily with Malwarebytes Antimalware.
I lost all my gold on all realms (the gbank gold and char gold) - and had a level 1 on all realms.
I contacted GM and they restored it.
 
Tell them to check IP's in time when they were sending your gold away, might help idk... Last year i was fcking around with blizz like that, i logged on ***, then changed password then selling 100k+ to chinesse and coming back on my IP sending a ticket to Blizz that i was hacked. After they checked IP's they returned my gold back to me.

P.S Not confirming that this works for everybody.
 
easy tiger. get and install expensive antivirus program... norton cool.

When this happened to me, my wow closed and I couldn't log in for 10 minutes. Just instant disconnect.
 
yup . def a malware/virus on your computer.
keep ticketing blizzard, if not, call and mention, as above, IP changes.

I'm using an authenticator, he didn't know if I did or not, and YET HE TELLS ME TO LEARN 2 AUTHENTICATE.:mad:

that happened cuz u run a crap profile and untrusted , u should learn to use Kick'z profiles he is the best

profiles does not send gold to others, a PB profile might nothing else, but still a big chanse from the profile writer that he is on just his realm, nah don?t think so, also as long as he gets the profiles from thebuddyforum he is safe.

It created a character on my realm, sent the gold to it and was found in ratchet. So most likely depositing in a guild.
I was trying to log in the entire time but got "Disconnected from Server" the same second I clicked enter.
 
I have first hand experience, i tried to restore my account after it was hacked and blizzard have the most fucking retarded support personnel and GM's EVER. Like 4 different people were logging onto my account on different ip's and had transferred my characters to 4 different accounts from 4 different payments. Yet they believe it was not compromised... soooo DUMB.
 
Authenticator is a must I agree, but this has happened to me due to a hacked SVN that was attached to the bot. I called blizzard and they said that the hacker submitted a fake picture ID with my info on it. He also said he has never seen anything like that before and it was a first for him. They did refund all my stuff though. Just be careful what you download and what you view including on SVN's

that's why we don't recommend SVN's you never know when the person who controls it might decide to slip in things that might not be soo safe. at least with downloads on the forums we can check it if we have to and if somethings bad we can remove it, so far we haven't needed to do so.
