Yep very hard, specially when you don't use the URL tag and the forum shortens it rendering it useless and leading to a 404 page.

Just a reminder, the forum disallows links to third-party sites for this very reason (and a couple of other excellent reasons). If you see someone post a link to a third-party site, PLEASE report it immediately (bottom left of post → triangle with a '!' on it). Don't make the mods guess why the post is being reported, just type in "3rd-party link" for the description.

If you encounter a post with such a link before it is moderated away, don't be tempted to click on it. There are many bad apples that lurk in our forums. Some pre-make accounts to do just that, until they get caught.
