[Guide] What to expect in 1.05, effective farming and why not to worry about builds!

Pretty nifty information here. What do you reckon will be the best character for botting come 1.0.5? Either in A1 or A3 at MP1

Max DPS pretty minimal defense really, doesn't matter what class but the melee one's seem to have a better time not dying as they're geared towards more defensive anyway :)

I'm wondering if anyone would take a look at MP0 vs MP1 in theory to determine which one, if any, is better. The OP implies MP1 is the very best MP to be farming, however, the calculations don't seem to include MP0. Any conclusions are much appreciated.

While the math is there in the real world this is not how it works. I run quite a lot of bots and import all of my stats logs into an app I created to compare the data and I have found that you should be adjusting the MP levels until you see the highest levels of LPH and IPH. I have bots on MP 2 that are only getting 550 or so IPH with pretty good gear and others running MP 7 who are getting over 800 IPH and 2.25 LPH. Just make sure you take a large sample size before ruling out or settling on an MP level.

IPH with trinity isn't a reliable source of data. When your bot dies and runs past loads of items on the floor again it counts them once more. You can test this easily with a bot running high MP with many deaths vs mp0 no deaths, the higher MP will have higher IPH in trinity, but it's completely false data.

Edit: @humble my calculations were based on MP1 correct, however I've modified initial post and the same holds for MP0.

MP0>MP1 unless killspeed is the same on both.
