Seeing as this has become a ban discussion, I will move this to the appropriate section.

It was supposed to be a sarcastic post against Niantic.

I'm using the PokeFarmer timer and botting 4 hours when I go to work, then botting 4 hours in the afternoon when I come home. I prefer that to a straight 8-9 hours until I hit the hard limit.

You are the one that got lucky, must have not bot on that date of the update. All of the accounts were banned, some even were legit to lvl 30 and botted to 35 was flagged and banned.

i started using this bot before it got turned into pokefarmer... i think it was called Mygobot or something like that, so i was botting WAY before january...its been like 4 months i think

Basically me. Legit until 33 ... don't even think I made a level botting just wanted to hatch eggs and collect candy, banned. Just unlucky with timing, using it late Dec through ban wave.

The timing and also the trap Niantic has laid between .51/.55 updates. Lost a level 39 and 37 account on the same wave.

I hope you are referring to yourself only otherwise that statement is untrue.

sorry to here guys got banned.. i have only 2 account that works for now.. all other were banned.. my main still safe 4 now, 98% progressed to reach lvl 40 (wish me luck). in my experience of all my banned account were getting banned when i got capthca's and softban. and some when i'm boting just right after any updates commence. other than that is still safe. so i THINK u guys MIGHT avoid ban by doing;

1. try not to get any type of sofban and yes i'm still sniping with my main but never been caught for a sofban. FYI i'm sniping using GPS joystick (Android 5.0 root then unroot). locating using websites=pokezz.
2. avoid captchas (for i dont really clear on how to avoid this, but maybe bot/play less than 9 hours/day)
3. play legitly/legally play pogo during any type of updates.

i also have appealed to niandick to get my acc back, but still no response. and there's no 100% sure of we are ban or not cuz there is no mail/notification saying we were ban. but i'm pretty sure that niandick don't give shit bout the mail/msgs/notifications.
