[Introduction]

The mage class is one of the tougher choices for an honorbuddy user, not because of the inadequacies of HB or CC's but more within the class's inability to stay alive.

Mages are one of the lower survivability classes which presents a problem for botting, add only being able to use cloth armor. Within this guide I intend to equip you with the best possible information advantage during your botting experience from 1-85.

I will not be explaining the setup and installation of HB and it's CC's, there are already guides available in the guides forum for that purpose. However I will be explaining specific's of tweaking and operating Amplify CC.

[CC and Profile]

For the purposes of this guide, I will be using and explaining Amplify Mage CC by CodenameG.

The profile itself is up to you, but I would recommend a relatively easy profile such as:

Kick's 1-60 Noob Profile for Alliance or iktankniet's 1-60 Horde Profile

both of these profiles send your character to relatively safe and add-free zones to do your grind.

[Spec]

The most important issue to resolve immediately within your CC is choosing an effective and efficient spell rotation. This rotation needs to take into account your Spec, which will be Frost since Amplify does not support Fire. For the 1-85 grind I would recommend the spec below.

Frost - 8/2/31

[Rotation]

Your rotation will be determined by the spells you select in Amplify.

This sounds like its going to be an amazing guide. I was really wanting to start a mage bot soon.

Looks good mate was gonna start up a mage myself pretty soon :D

Maybe you want to add at level 51 to start queueing up AV, gets great exp

besides the fact my CC doesn't support fire spec, and people keep convincing me its not worth it to add it. it would be interesting to see how this guide will turn out.

*edit* also moving the thread, the Classes Section is for CC Releases ONLY.
