[Guide] Isboxer (Warning : Image intensive) + YAR

This is a general guide on using Isboxer due to popular demand, no offense but if you can't even understand this you deserve to be shot
Sorry for the lousy font management (was lazy :p)
Make sure force foreground is unchecked on DB
Go to Demonbuddy\Settings\GlobalSettings.xml and change <KeepGameInForeground>false</KeepGameInForeground> before proceeding!
D3prefs will be named after characters so be sure to check on them after first launch, it might be screwed for the first launch. After the first launch, close all d3 and edit them

Wizards > Quick Setup Wizard (Ctrl+Q)

Fill all the names for your bots and adding them one by one in the "Actual Character name" box

Fill in a name for your "team" this will be your character set name for either YAR or DRelog

Choose any setting on the drop-down box (you can change the regions later)

CPU strategy this is what I recommend that works best for me for multiple core cpu (you can go down to 15 fps without any big hits on bot performance)

FINISH UP (you can untick all this if you want since they don't really serve a purpose but leave it checked for the advanced portion)

Now you would want to do a shortkey to swap your small windows to size

1. Character Set name
2. Slot number
3. Shortkey to swap windows to main region (aka big window yay!)
Here you can edit the performance setting for your toon(i would recommend limiting fps in d3 rather than innerspace limit)

This option will make it so that the window only expands when the shortkey is pressed

Here you can play with window size, the always on top mode as shown is what i prefer so that when a single window is selected all the rest will be on top as well

Done! Export to innerspace

Right click innerspace icon and launch "isboxer character sets" for the first run! let it cache everything thats need

DONE! Export to innerspace! (Ctrl+E)
Control many bots at once!(up to 3 for diablo 3 power-leveling because of party limitation)

Drag the required slots that will be controlled into action target group (in this case I'm using 11 to control 12 and 13), what this does is just to make this group follow certain shortkey

Here you configure the shortkey for repeat and the targetted slots/characters that you will be controlling together.

Done export to innerspace! Press shift+alt+R to start key broadcast!

Protip : Syncing aka making your characters go to a corner before moving off helps a LOT(also after elite disabler affixes)

reserved 2 for YAR to be used with Original YAR or rrrix's YAR fork
Generally this setup should remain the same throughout YAR unless there's any big changes

To find out which combat routine for giles go to \Demonbuddy\Routines\GilesBlankCombatRoutine open up GilesBlankCombatRoutine.cs and look at line 19

Step 2

Isboxer/apoc d3 starter users: direct diablo III.exe to the one and only in program files folder for all bots
Copy paste users: direct 1 diablo III.exe to each bot
Only settings in YAR for isboxer to work in the new bot settings team name and slot number(incremental) as set above in the isboxer guide

Step 3 Press Fill week if you have balls of steel running 24/7 like me, basically grey box = dont run green = run. If you want to run while schedule is grey you'd need to check the force box below

Step 4 select your profiles! and done

You can leave settings tab on YAR as default or check out what fancies you

  • Run your bots (Wrong! Check force only if d3 doesnt start due to schedule not being set aka grey to all boxes)

    Start all starts all enabled bots, stop does what it says, pause will stop YAR monitoring bot so as to allow for pauses or stops to manage inventory

    Isboxer users : Settings to direct to innerspace (C:\Program Files (x86)\InnerSpace)

this looks like a good guide, i just got my second account today, not sure if i should do this or go the VM route which seems significantly more complicated. Besides the fact that ISboxer costs 50bucks a year, what do you recommend for someone just starting to dual box? ISboxer or Vm.
 
i think i might lean towards this though, depending on how my dboxed monk works out, if it pays for itself (35bucks) plus the Isboxer for a year (50) then it is worth it
 
YAR can basically do what isboxer can do except the linking of actions. which is not needed imo
 
ya but how can you run multiple clients w/out isboxer or a vm?

copy paste or use d3starter in YAR

and to sp0rk, isboxer provides a easier way to organise characters and yes its true YAR does most of the things which are based on isboxer (some suggestions i made to sinter)
the idea of this is just to provide easier management of bots and a small amount of money for easier management (why not?)

ok so i think i figured it out. Now my buddy warned me against being flagged for 'same hardware id' 'same ip'... ect. is this bad or is the a way to circumvent this w/out a vm? is this against TOS or can all account associated with my hardware id/ip be flagged for possible botting?

in my personal opinion, it doesn't matter. (personal opinion only) i've been running 24/7 for 11 accounts same ip same hardware id for 3months+- only one got hit in the recent ripple
 
I'm not against isboxer. I just want to know how will it help me manage 10 bots. I have yar. All the logging in is at a click of a button. How does isboxer help?
 
i know what you mean sp0rk, you'd have to try it to know exactly how it is. Hard to explain imo

yup there is a 7 day trial, as for how to register i'm not too sure lol
 
Just roamed arround boxing few toons for the lolz. Really boring but I guess its gonna work fine with taking all ze moneys off the AH and stashing all the completed items back in ur backpack. I guess thats the only usefull part next to scaling all the different wow accounts in mini windows.
 
I'm fixing everything right now.
Lets see how its going to go. I actually dont understand the purpose of ISBoxer th?t much right now since you can do the same with YAR but lets see how this turns out.
