[Guide] How to play World of Warcraft for Free

Hi,

For years I'm sure both you and I have been either paying by Credit Card or by 60 Day Game Time Cards, for those of you who don't mind selling gold in order to continue playing the game then this is for you... the great thing about this is that you only have to sell what I would consider a small amount of gold (low risk) to continue playing for that month, at the moment the cost of Recruit a Friend is around 12,000 gold to play for 1 month.. I didn't understand RAF for a while since I only used one account and have never used RAF to play for game time as RAF has got me playing now on 4 accounts from just 1.

What will happen;

Note: You can buy an unfreeze code (so you can activate the RAF) for 3,000 gold approx... you don't need to pay for game time to make your account active so you can add RAF (unless of course you only have 1 account, then just pay with real life money).

1. You trade (sell) the gold to the buyer (I opt for Extra Safe RAF GameTime, cost me 15,000 gold, 3 removals supported although I hear you only really need 2 at 12,000 gold)
2. You go to your account and then click on the Recruit a Friend Option
3. You send an invitation to any email that you have access to (try to make it a different one than the one you're using on the account, like create another free gmail or free hotmail account just for the RAF)
4. You give the guy the links that you sent yourself (all three).
5. The guy activates the RAF... now, the first raf will be removed instantly (which is very normal) but then the 2nd RAF will be applied and it should work for that month (if not you, you tell the guy it got removed and he does hes magic and you have the months game time again).
6. You can also pay a bit more in gold and get a free mount that comes with refer a friend bonus.

Usually you can find buyers/sellers at OwnedCore.com, I cannot provide a referral (Name of Seller) as advertising isn't allowed... I do not benefit from this guide and created it for people who don't want to pay for WoW anymore or for those who want to use a small amount of their gold to fund their botting account(s).

P.S although it's not really free because you need to farm the gold, it's like free anyway since the value of gold to you is nothing since a bot got you the gold.

TL;DR Used to buy 60 day time cards on websites, now I just use the RAF and buy with gold... now you can too.

FAQ:

Q: Will my RAF gametime just be removed, I've heard that people just get their RAF removed?

This is very normal to have the first RAF that you buy to be removed, which is why you should already buy Safe RAF time which covers the instant RAF removal and the 2nd one should last for the 30 days, keep in mind that blizzard can remove RAF at anytime but usually or most of the time it's both fine and worth it since you won't get banned... the RAF gametime just gets removed (although that could change in the future).

Q: When the 30 days is up, does this mean I can no longer do it again and again?

RAF gametime can be used just like you would use your credit card or 60 day game time, when the time is up or near to (you want to do it a few days before so you don't need to buy an Unfreeze Code) you can just buy more Recruit a Friend game time again and again and again and again etc.. just like any other game time.

i heard from a friend experience, blizzard sometimes take away the days when you use RAF method, he only used 2 days and the 3rd day his account was frozen, did you heard about it before?

Thanks a lot Giwin for taking the time to share all of this info, I've seen who I believe to be the seller you're talking about on OC forums but just looked it over because it went over my head. Mind answering a Q? Once the 30 days are up, do you just throw it away and start up a new acct or will you opt for the 30-85k for 60days? Thanks!
 
Answered both questions in FAQ, the 2nd question I also thought "I can only use this once anyway" but no, you can use multiple times just like you would a credit card or 60 day game time.

Again, it''s best to simply buy the game time a week or a few days before that game time ends... that's if you remember, or you can just buy two lots so that when you do remember you'll still have game time left (up to your memory, or you can write in a reminder on your PC etc).

I think that if you play on EU this applies to you but if you play on US they well remove it everytime not just 2-3 times that's what i've heard.
 
I just use gold to buy game time codes. It's more expensive, but never gets removed and looks more legitimate than RAF IMO.
 
It's kind of ironic that you are posting this guide because of your signature ^^ I've used RAF for a while but I don't want to give them more reasons to investigate my accounts to be honest.
 
I will add some to this, as I have a great deal of knowledge on it.

First off, 12k is a little expensive if you ask me, I usually get 3 months for 12-15k.
The unfreeze code has a chance to lock your account so that you have to contact blizzard to unlock it. It happens if you use too many unfreeze codes in a short amount of time. For example if your RaF gametime gets removed and then you use unfreeze so you can add new time. I would say it's a little over dramatic to say that the first month gets removed instantly - that is not the case for me. Also, that "extra security" thing they make you pay for is just a sham to get you to pay more gold. Here's how I do:
  1. Send several RaF invites to my own e-mail
  2. Contact RaF reseller and give them the code from the link in my e-mail
  3. They add the game time and I pay the gold.
  4. If the RaF time is removed or I forget to renew before the subscription ends, I just send the next key to the RaF reseller - and then pay the gold when I'm back online.
The trick is that you can not send RaF invites when your account is frozen. But invites that has already been sent can be used to reactivate your account. So the unfreeze codes are never really needed except for the very first time. This way, I don't have to pay extra gold for unfreeze - I don't have the risk of my account being locked for too many unfreeze codes - I only pay extra gold if the RaF gametime does in fact get removed.

This is exactly how I do it too, no need to pay for more than you get! Recently I go a slightly different way though, since battlechests are just 3,75? at the moment and you can always use some extra ones. If one of my accounts is expiring soon, I refer myself and buy 1 battlechest. With this battlechest I refer another battlechest. Now I have 3 connections and 2 new accounts (3x exp boost). You can level those on any server you like, farm herbs ores in classic/bc/wotlk and make your investment back (maybe even upgrade them to serious botting accounts later). Then I go with Inrego's way and buy gametime from my chinese guy and apply the gametime to the last referred account. Since they are all connected I get 1 month worth of game time on all of those 3 accounts.


Edit: Thanks to Inrego for his awesome Ultimate Farmer profiles too, definitely worth the buy for me.
 
Can You please send me a PM with the name of your RAF seller, cuz the RaF from a chinese I buy from gets removed instantly (on any account I tried), literary in 2h hours. :/
 
I thought this was common knowledge amongst botters, been using this since mid Cata : o

Blizzard recently started to remove this very fast, even with the safest method. So think twice before buying this atm.
( I use it myself, speaking by personal experience)

I would second this, safe game time is being removed within 2 days,, the person I get it from told me since last week Blizz been hitting RAF time and they don't know how they are catching it,so don't buy and just yet

yes, I was buying some but they are getting hit this week... mine has been fine though atm
