So, just felt the urge to fill you guys in on a little guide that has been working for all that i tell it to thus far.
Just a few things that you can do to avoid getting that ban hammer.
I will try to make this as easy to read as possible so here we go!
*** 4/29/2013***
I effectivly use Gatherbuddy2 just about every single day for the last 2 weeks straight without a single ban on 3 diff accounts...
What i suggest you do if your paranoid like me,
When you want to use [GB2] use it for 1-2 hours (occasionally) pop in to view the bot to make sure hes not being stupid! ( I personally never let it go 2 mins without looking at the screen.) After this 1-2 hour mark of 100% AFK botting, put the bot on Stop. and do maybe 10 -20 mins of botting by using the wow addon "Gatherer + WoWHead_DB Gatherer addon", this will ultimatly show you are not on a "set path" like most bots would be doing from 1 herb to the next.
Another tip is that when you reach this 1-2 hour mark of botting AFK.. Load a different script!! Change your route! This is one of the things that is getting a lot of people banned, i change my Script every 30 mins and it works just fine for me.
One of the BIGGEST!! -- when you farm like 600 stacks of just tons of crap, and put it on the AH and you Undercut, or Overcharge(by a LOT) People get angry.. ive read countless forums posts, and the tip behind this is.. people see 30 stacks of Ghost iron Ore for 45g, and 40 stacks of Green Tea for 20g... you will most likely get a Hater who will Appeal you and thus -- bringing you into the radar of the Ban Hammer. So watch out for this one guys.
Thoes are the main things.. a few others that i would advise..
1) Bot when you are waiting for a que, or raid, or what ever
2) Use your bot at a specific time, like when blizzard isnt open and its like Hecka early in the morning and dem GM's are lazy eyed lol ( sarcasm..)
3) when your botting.. occasionally stop the bot and do something that a "BOT" wouldnt normally do in its routine, like Jump around when killing mobs.
4) Talk to people in game. Guild, friends, raid, w.e.
anyway - hope this helps you guys out. havent had any issues yet!
