[Guide] Decrease CPU & GPU usage while botting [D3Prefs.txt]

So.. I'm guessing the one that OP posted isn't working anymore? Does anyone have an updated version that works?

Nvm, read a couple post back and is working now.

NO one have decrease my CPU and gpu usage. Maybe 1-3% but not more :s
 
Thanks for this. i would like to see the health globe as i do play the game from time to time.

please teach me how to make the necessary adjustments?

Hmm I tried OP's D3Prefs.txt and all it did was reset the D3 settings to the default original. :(
 
Yeah because there are some things in the config, that are only on his computers d3pref.txt, what I did what simply go through his configs, rewrote mine to what I needed changed

It dont work at all, you need to manually make the changes to the settings in the file (but it still changes it back after for me)
 
I don't know why. But after using d3prefs I'm getting 8 less legendaries per hour. The last 4 days I've averaged 8 legendaries per hour. But with this I'm getting 0.7 legendaries per hour. Why?

That's just random. Changing this file will have no impact on your drops at all.
 
You can just disable the 3D rendering on d3 and make it use 1-2% of cpu and ram

Lol what a nonsense... Disabling 3d will lower cpu but ofc not to 1%. It's like running a bot without a game opened...

I know loots are random, but it just seems so.. not random.. I've been steadily getting 8 legendaries per hour, for days straight. Going 24/7. Now I'm at 2, constantly. Never getting over 3.
 
While this thread is getting derailed, I want to point out that this is still working as intended, and does a great job in helping lower CPU usage.

To Zhadow, message me exactly what you're doing, as I believe I might have a few reasons why you're getting lower LPH and I might be able to help.
 
Doesnt work. Prefs keeps being over-written when I start D3. Even when I manually input settings into file.
