Guide and profiles for the Netherwing Drakes!
There's a series of quests to get to Neutral with the faction you wanna raise: Netherwing.
Please note that these quests CAN NOT be completed with HB2 and you wont find a profile that suits these quests beacuse you need a Flying Mount to complete these.
Travel to Shadowmoon Valley and seek out the NPC called Mordenai. He can be found wandering and killing NPC's near the crystals at Dragonmaw Fortress.
I would suggest flying/walking around with this macro spaming it to find him:
/target Mordenai.
Grap the quest he gives you and start killing Flayers for Quest item named "Rocknail Flayer Carcass" and drop em as the drop (You can aswel kill the small Rocknails and get a quest item wich you need to stack at 5, to make a Rocknail Flayer Carcass).
A Netherwing drake will fly down and eat of it, but take great care... The Neterwings don't know who you are and might engage you!
When completed, move back to Mordenai. Macro can still be used.(see above).
Complete the quest and grap the next one in the line.
Fly high and look after a big flying ghost dragon in the fields near Dragonmay Fortress.
Please note that finding Neltharaku can be a pain, i found him flying around Warden's Cage
Turn the quest in, and grap the new one. Talk to Neltharaku and listen to his tale, i encourage you to read it all and not just skipping through it, it's nice stuff!
Talk to him, complete the quest and grap the new one.
Next quest is about killing orcs, fly down to the fortress and kill 15 orcs.
Turn the quest in at Neltharaku that flies above.
Grap the next one and fly to the "Platform" named "Nethwing Ledge" it's in the Southeast corner of the Shadowmoon Valley(Type /map).
Land on the ledge and find Nethervine Crystals, please notet that "Find minerals" can aid you with this.
Gather all 12 and get back to Neltharaku.
Pick up the new quest.
This quest is about freeing Netherwing dragons at the Dragonmaw Fortress.
Use the quest item on a drake and help it defeat the NPC that controls it, BUT ONLY ENGAGE NPC WHEN DRAGONS NAME IS GREEN!
Otherwise the Netherwing drake will just attack you and the quest would be un-done.
Do that with 5 drakes, and move back to Neltharaku.
Turn it in and pick up the next quest in the line.
You need to move to the "?" Dot on you /map. the NPC you need to talk to is named Karynaku, complete the Quest, and pick up the next one. This quest is an elite quest and according to Blizzard, you need to be [5] players. I was able as a 80 Shaman that is pretty decent geared to do this one, specced in the Enhancement tree.
Otherwise get a friend to help you, if you don't got any friends, too bad.
Kill Zuluhed and get the key and use it on the chains that keeps Karynaku.
Free him and complete the quest and accept next one, make sure you're NOT mounted when doing this.
Let Karynaku fly and speak with you at the Netherwing Fields and run around finding Mordenai, the macro is still useable.
Please note that if you are mounted when accepting his flight you need to abandon the quest and take it again, unmounted.
You are now Neutral with the Netherwing!
"What can i do now?" You might think, and i got the answer for you!
You can pick up the next quest from Mordenai and fly to Dragonmaw Base camp that is at Netherwings Ledge. Dying here will make you a Fel Orc and you will even ride a Netherwing drake!
You can complete a series of dailies and in a couple of weeks, you will earn exalted with the Netherwing and you can use your new glancing mount.
I did make some questing profiles for doing the dailies on the Netherwing ledge, but they are not released before the Flying mount is supported in paid plugins. Anyways, i did some thinking and thought of releasing them, not all dailies are in it but it's a start and i'm still working on it, if you die... You'll get ported to Black Temple and.. I simply stopped the bot at that point.
