[Grinding] Making Profiles if anyone needs

Side note: if you haven't done the quests, theres a lot of quests over there killing the pirates. and you can also deliver the lost turtle to his wife, Torga?, over there (turtle is usually south west tanaris area)

Thanks. I'll let this run for few hours and update this post if it works.

With a fast look it seems the profile is fine. I wouldn't run this at any other class than paladin or warrior though, you can easily get +6 adds there. Getting 60k/hr exp as a retri paladin with bad gear (no heirlooms), which is pretty good. Will update later if I get to see any problems.

Dragonblight Indu'le + Snowfall

Snowfall Glade (the racoon guys) + Indu'le Village (walrus guys) + 1 profile that has both hotspots in it... now that one is weird so let me know if you guys get any bugs or stuck in water (it didn't hotspot in the water, lmk if i need to blacklist)

This uses mailbox and repair at Moa'ki Harbor

set pull radius to 40

Onslaught Camp (Dragonblight)

Onslaught Base Camps just east from wintergarde / ne from venomspite

Mail / vendor is currently set to wintergarde (alliance) - if you're horde, simply replace the vendor and mailbox with the 2 labeled as horde at venomspite (its in the profile notes)

Would use a Tyr's Hand grinding profile, with vendors at Light's Hope Chapel. Should avoid the big chapel because it's just too hard. Would be awesome for paladins and warriors.

I have mapped the whole area, 54-56 elites on lower tier, 57-60 elites on top tier. If you cannot handle the top tier, delete the hotspots that the profile says to. Make a higher pull distance if you're having problems dieing

Mailbox / repair at Light's Hope Chapel

Thanks alot. My paladin is 47 ATM. I'll try the Tyr's Hand profile at 55.

Although I feel that I've asked too much from you already, I would ask you to make profiles at these locations:

i've got to run some simulations to verify that it doesn't run through the stupid middle area w/ 100 mobs on it

Kick, you are doing a great job here, making profiles on demand. I am just a bit worried a lot of the good work gets lost. I strongly recommend the moderators, Tony and his crew, to revise the profiles section...so that profiles can be found much easier. Consequently, the new profiles here should then be uploaded there. This way, they are easier to find for newbies. Since BC and WOTLK profiles should also work with Cataclysm, there should at least be three subsections

Profiles:

- BC
-WOTLK
- DUNGEONS
 
Wpl ff + sh

This is for WPL Felstone Field + Sorrow Hill grinding, good for 48-52'ish and good for AoE farming if your CC is setup for that

I have blacklisted most of the Ruins of Andorhal, you may need to edit the radius if it takes you too close to The Writhing Haunt, but you may run into a level 55 when circling the route

I have also put in my profile where SH starts / stops and where FF starts / stops so if you only want to farm 1, or the other, you can simply delete the hotspots

Repair is at Alliance's Chillwind camp, no horde repair. No mailboxes in WPL

Agreed that the mods (or devs) do need to do something to re-arrange as its hectic and weed out the profiles that we upload... But as a side note, the authors should re-post their profiles in the correct section and / or have them moved. It hasn't really been re-arranged since Bossland converted the old forums to the new forums in January (2010). I'm just glad Hawker isn't deleting any attachments over 30 days old anymore (haha who remembers that??) <3 Hawker

As far as on-demand, I am just getting my profile building skills up for when cata comes and everyone will be like QQ I wanna farm XX and i'll be like "yeah, i've been farming that for 2 weeks" xD
 
Ran your pirate-grinding profile 45-49. Worked very well, it could be posted at the profile section. Had 0 deaths as a paladin, getting average of 55-60k exp/hr.
Remember to put "Pirate's Footlocker" to Lootfilter to reduce the amount of vendoring.

Gonna run your Sorrow Hill / Felstone Field profiles tomorrow.

Please be more specific. Is HB not looting, or is that profile faulty?

it looks like i need to blacklist that tree, is that the only problem?

Edit: BTW, theres 2 things that I hate in the world...
1) Gravity (irl and in game)
2) Trees (in game)

Yep, I appreciate any and all feedback. I do make the profiles and then turn off agro and simply mount through them to verify that they work. I don't usually add like 20 hotspots in a 20 yard range, i go in / around the area and then let HB do the rest. I recommend a 35-40 yard pull range (targetting range) for HB2

I have tested this profile and I never got stuck. I won't be fixing it

if you have a problem, find the tree, take a piss on it, and the make a blackspot on 1 side then the opposite side and stick that in the profile, resave, and re-open profile and bot will work great. Then stick that note in the thread that they need to blackspot <blackspot x y z radius n>

If you guys are wanting a "starting" profile with comments of where stuff goes, I have uploaded my default template.xml profile which is how I start each profile that I make
