Hi there,

I have this peculiar issue when using GrindBot with a specific profile on a particular wow account (eg.Account1): the profile will just not load. When I attempt to load the profile the system status remains: “Loading Profile” and nothing happens. This profile will not load for any other of my characters on this particular wow account (Account1) but the strange thing is, this profile will load and run perfectly well on a different wow account(Account2). I have no trouble running other GrindBot profiles on Account1 or Account2 except for this particular profile on Account1.

I have tried various things to get this profile to work on Account1, for instance: A clean Install, no add-ons, using a temporary Mesh folder, running the graphics on DirectX9 or X11 but nothing seems to work,

I should mention that the last time I used this profile on Account1, I was afk and when I returned I had been disconnected from the wow server. So I closed the whole system down and did not attempt to relaunch wow and continue runnign the profile.

Please could you suggest the reason for this and perhaps a method to sort this out.

Thanks in advance.

try moving to a different location like not inside your garrison.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, the profile is for a windwool farm in Kun-Lai Summit and the author of the profile hasn't stipulated where the starting area should be. One more suggestion I found within the forums for this type of unwanted behaviour is to attempt to load up the profile with a different botbase and then switch botbases once the profile loaded. This seem to have worked with using CombatBot and then changing to GrindBot. It looks like this pulled the account out of any error state it was in. It is now working as it should. Thanks for your time.
