Grind Profile Builder

Okay, I see whats going on after some more test it definitely works! Us newbs just need a little hand holding.

So it works as intended. Just a little clarification for us newbies. Thank you for your patience Ama! We are newbs for a reason :-).

Previous guide.
How to use
1)Open GUI
2)Enter any settings
3)Click red button that says "Not Recording"
4)Drive around (doesn't have to be exact path, plugin will pick up mob locations pretty far out)
5)Click "Save"

It should say.
1)Open GUI
2)Enter any settings
3)Click red button that says "Not Recording"
4)Make sure to have combat only profile!
5)You actually need to start the bot :-) - Not sure if before you could do this without starting bot.

6)Drive around (doesn't have to be exact path, plugin will pick up mob locations pretty far out)
7)Click "Save" -

It works for me now

Thank you :p

Hey Ama,
I'm not sure if you're still working on this, but I'm having some difficulties getting it to work properly.

Attached, you'll find the grind profile the plugin built, as well as the log file for my combat time.

The issue I'm facing is that the builder is not compiling all my mobs and hotspots.

What I'm doing:
Log into BW
Use Default Combat profile (blank) with Pure rotation, click start
Open profile builder, set my settings (I just add the name and change max level to 56) and click Start Recording (it turns green)
Run around and kill stuff in my area
Hit save before and after every fight

What's missing:
2 of the gold mobs and one of the silver mobs I fought.
2 of the grind hotspots didn't appear to register.

Am I using it wrong, or is there a glitch in the system?

I put in a check not to add elites. I figured it would have a better chance of survival and get more xp if it ignored them.

Hi Ama,

I am unable to get the bot to move from POI to POI when the profile is running. I will kill the mobs if I am in the general vicinity of one of the POIs, but doesn't move from one to the next.

Seems you are a lvl 19 Knight? Change the max level on your profile to 20 or higher. :) It is currently for lvl 15, 16 and 17.

Hope this still works Im gonna try to use it later today. Thanks for making the plugin!

I have been trying to figure out the profile builder. I have it listed in the plugins section of the loader... I followed the simple instructions.. but, I save and there is not one listed anywhere.. Even when I hit the review it does not show anything listed... Could someone knockout a video or a step by step instruction... If I am able to get it working.. I am willing to post more profiles to help others..

Thanks again for your time...

This plugin doesnt really work anymore, it just has blank profiles even when you try to save it. I would recommend reading this and just doing it by hand it only takes 1-5 minutes to make a few hotspots and add a vendor hotspot. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/buddy-...28515-grind-profile-tutorial.html#post1237031

Cant some one smart make this worke agen? This is the only way us "noobs" can ever make a profile for SWTOR :( !!!!

It works 100%. What problem do you have? I tried it a minute ago to check, and it is working as before. Load combat.xml (find it in kick's profile pack) - it is a blank profile used for combat only. Use Ama's Unpure Routine. Load BW, enable plugin (make sure you have the combat.xml loaded as profile, and check Unpure for routine). Start the bot and click that big ass button on the GUI to start recording. Drive around the area and kill stuff as normal. Also make sure you are close to a vendor, and click on vendor etc etc. Stop GUI, preview and/or save. Done.
As stupid as this will sound and forgive me for stating the obvious - make sure you START the bot and use an empty profile such as combat.xml before you even click the start recording button on the GUI.

Thanks Saltychip,

Ok, well atleast I am not crazy... I will review the profile sample again to see if I can figure out how to make my own.. One question that I am not quite clear on is getting the locations for the NPC or starting locations.. Do I just use the bot to dump those out in order to add them to the profile?

Could someone show a quick sample of completing a quest profile... So, I can start making some for the different classes... I have been looking at some of the older ones.. But, without knowing how to dump them into a working profile I don't know how to log them to say pickup quest here.. Goto here to kill until item needed drops or get item here then return here to complete quest..

Unfortunately the plugin does not work. I installed all the versions one by one and do not see mobs. How can I fix this?

so i tryed to make my own profile with this and it finds the mobs i want to grind if they are close and kills them but after it wont move just stands there and does nothing

Your character is more than likely higher than level 28. The max level is set to 28 I your profile.
Your profile: <MinLevel>1</MinLevel>
<MaxLevel>28</MaxLevel>

Change that to <MaxLevel>32</MaxLevel>
..or whatever you want to accommodate the level of the character you are using with your profile. It is not rocket science :)

i have tryed that now and it still wont Work even tryed making a new profile with the lvl set correct as soon there is no mobs in close range and the bot have to move the recordet route it just stands there and does nothing adding the full BW log from my last attemt seems like a navigaton problem

I am interested in creating some profiles for BT affection farming... is it possible to use this plugin to do it?
Would be possible to record (or add) NPC interaction and conversation choices?

Probably not possible using this plugin, I don't even know if the plugin still works. Use the questing profiles from Kick as a guideline for conversation stuff and build it by hand.
