[Grind] 20-44 Eastern Kingdoms Grind - HORDE

I don't know about you, but quite frankly... I'm SICK of quest order profiles. I hate babysitting. Period. So, seeing as we never get many new grinding profiles here I figures I'd use some good old vigilantism, and hopefully get this show on the road. (Sorry Alliance)

What this profile is, is a level 20 - 40 Grinding profile made for Honorbuddy 1.9.5.8. It starts in Tarren Mill, well south of there, and goes and moves into Darrow Hill, then around (but not IN) Nethander Steed/Dun'Garok. After that, it moves itself into Arathi near Hammerfall, and will go south for a bit, then East, then all the way south again. Confused? I'll upload pictures for us to oogle at, while or after you read this.

This should work well. Remember to stock up on potions, food/water, get the appropriate plug-ins such as:
  • eRefreshment
  • eTalent
  • mountDetect
  • AutoEquip
  • (And if you're into this stuff) TimeUntilLevel
I tested this on an Undead Warrior through out levels 20 to 40. His gear wasn't the best, but not the greatest. I added some blackspots so hopefully your little guy won't run in there while you're sleeping... or whatever you do while you bot.

Edit: Hillsbrad has been changed! No more Dun Garok. And the Hinterlands has been added for up to 44. Give this a try and let me know how this goes!

I agree with you, and I'm tired of babysitting :) I'm going to test this on a 20 UD Priest, and advise you of the results. Thank you for your contribution.
 
Ok, it ran perfectly from 20-24, but once it hit 24 it died 5 times in a row (the only deaths the entire time). Turns out it was fighting a 32 mountain lion, and had zero chance of killing it, obviously. I'm going to train my spells for 24, repair, and kick him off again from Tarren Mill to see what's what. If it happens again, I'll post a log.
 
Hm! I think my Paladin is around level 20 as well. Maybe I should give it a go, too. But definitely post a log if it does happen again. Uhm, where about was this lion? D:
 
Update: I let it fly on 24, and it went just fine. Overnight I let it go (mostly because I forgot) at 25. I woke up to her being 27.5 (only gained 2 levels in about 10 hours, so something terrible happened). She was dead, at Dun Garok with a res timer of 2 minutes. These mobs are 29 and I'm 27, and there's plenty of opportunity for multiples, as I can tell by just looking around. She probably couldn't find a spot to res at, ressed anyway, and got adds and died many times. Completely red gear, so she must have died A LOT. I'll repair, train, and kick her off again according to your map, to see what the results are.

Update #2: I looked at the map, and realize that it's supposed to head down to Dun Garok at my level, and may I suggest that you alter that, since at least for me (priest) if you die, chances are you'll end up in a perpetual loop of res/die/res/etc.

Alright cool! When I get back from work today i'll add in a 26-28 place for a smoother transition.

By the way, were you stuck in nethander steed?

What do you mean by stuck? Are you asking if I got hung up on something, and couldn't move, or are you asking if it would just grind in that area and not leave it?

Update #3: She ended up dying many times, up by Dun Garok again. I'm going to have to stop until you fix this, because clearly this is an issue.

Stuck as in grinding. But I take that as a no. Hmm... I never really had a problem with Dun Garok. But what works for A usually won't work for B! We'll find another place instead of Dun Garok. Although, I don't think I have any hotspots directly in there. But yes, i'll give it a look when I get home.

Hi Gatherit, what you can do is press load, let it press on through to 25 and by then I should have an update. I have a nice full day (open to close) at work. So i'll be home in a few hours to work out the kinks.
 
Alright, new profile is up. Test it out. Let me know. I have NO characters around 20-30 D: so i'm relying on you guys to let me know how this goes.

Is your bot on Grind mode? Which CC are you using? I guess it could be a lot of things... I'll give my Warrior a go in the 29 area to see if I get that same error as well.

You're welcome! I almost have 40-50 completely done so i'll upload that when I make a better 47-50 as the XP/HR is too low! But yeah, let me know how it goes.

Update #2: Ack, let it run for 8 hours, starting at 33 (almost 34) and I have 25 deaths (2 per hour, HB states), 788 kills (92 per hour), and XP/H now at 35 (almost 36) is 16. As I was typing this, she died again. Here's the log if you want to peruse it. You'll see at the top where it didn't know where to go because I wasn't in the right spot (assumed incorrectly that HB would just move me), but once I moved it was fine (as far as the nav error that is). Not really thrilled to only get 2 levels in 8 hours, to be quite honest. Hey, I guess that's what the feedback is for, right? To advise you of the testing, and for you to tweak it. Hope this helps!
