Graphic occasionally jerk or lag

i've tried to lower the setting to low but sometimes the graphic still jerk or lag. I'm using gtx 680

could this be due to window mode and my resolution is 1920x1200?
if there a way to reduce the jerk since i cant change the resolution if im in window mode

150 is ok for foreground,if your GPU is decent insrease background
