[Grandfathered] Stars - Flurry From The Sky

A minor request.
I'm often switch from main to alts.
And routine eachtime trying to cast Mark of the Wild - game character says "Can't cast this spell", and mouse cursor makes "highlighted"
So this each time boring me, and I required to stop routine for some time

[21:09:22.882 N] Not in game
[21:09:55.681 N] [55:681]: [Mark of the Wild][On: Me] [HP:100.0%][Reason: No Stats on me]
[21:09:56.126 N] [56:126]: [Mark of the Wild][On: Me] [HP:100.0%][Reason: No Stats on me]
[21:09:56.614 N] [56:614]: [Mark of the Wild][On: Me] [HP:100.0%][Reason: No Stats on me]
[21:09:57.142 N] [57:142]: [Mark of the Wild][On: Me] [HP:100.0%][Reason: No Stats on me]
[21:09:57.551 N] [57:551]: [Mark of the Wild][On: Me] [HP:100.0%][Reason: No Stats on me]
........

Is it possible to check player's class after "Not in game" event?
and do not cast Mark of the Wild in such cases?

That doesn't sound like proper use case scenario. HB should restart if you change class or character.

U switched from x to y?

I understand what your trying to do and here are some simple solutions
1. Press pause for enyo while swapping, unpause after your back on toon
2. Stop bot until you are back on that character
3. restart hb after relogging

this is just what i do to get around that,

U switched from x to y?
complete scenario (sorry for bad english):
1. log as druid, start HB with Stars routine, press Start button.
Stars will autocast Mark of the Wild
2. Exit game (do not logout) - to character selection screen
3. Select some non-druid alt, for example rogue. Enter game.
4. Stars will start try cast Mark of the Wild many-many-many times [i think, it's a bad]

I attached complete log for this situation (not really sure you will need this, but anyway i did this)

shinavaka. Yes, I'm pausing the bot as soon as I notice it. But I forget to do it in much more cases:)
I'm afraid it's a bad when routine tries to cast unavailbe spell for unlimited time - it's just a message to everybody: heeeeey, bot is over here!

Yes, but ur asking to add many fail checks just because ur not using the bot how it should be used ;p that's like... Let's make stars slower because 0.1% of the users forgets to pause on time?

Wait, Honorbuddy is meant to restart when you switch characters? That's never happened for me I've always had to manually restart hb when I switch characters.

No and yes. It will not automatically restart, you'll have to do it yourself :)

I'm just pointing you for this
it's your decision - do something or not :)
I mentioned in original post - very low priority [basically i'm tester and finding some minor issues for you] [perhaps sometimes i'm pain in ass, but i'm tester anyway ]

I'm not asking to check "is druid" before each cast - i know, it's silly

One more note - there is line in log:
[08:11:29.378 N] Not in game
So I offer to check "is druid" only after "Not in game"

Yes,

But that 'Not in game' is a HB Default message, and it does not call the routine during that period, thus it's hard to determine whenever this change occurred. Either way, I'm not going to implement it :(

is it possible to change routine, from stars to leaves if i do swich my spec to heal, without a restart of hb?

Difficult question, it's possible in some sort of way. I did it in the past, wrote a universal plugin for it and I believe gladiator suite allows u to do it at the moment. But the fact that it tries to reload every routine, and not everyone uses proper disposing/enabling it adds a high change of bugs. Double event subscriptions / compiler errors (Singular) etc.

So u'll have to restart the bot for it to be stable. But depending on which products u have enabled a restart might be slow. If so, u should report it and the developer might optimize the load times. If not, the HB devs might force him/her to do so.

Currently I'm on Darmac (mythic)
there are looooooot of aoe

I noticed that another moonking are #1 (55k dps), however i'm about #7-8 (46k dps)
we both using glyph Glyph of the Solstice - Item - World of Warcraft
gear is ~ same

however he has 42% damage of Sunfall (and only 7.4% of Starfall)
and me - 26% of Sunfall and 16% of Starfall. I feel this is one of my problems
View attachment 142728 2015-03-25 22.48.txt

I tried Uggla on another try: 45% damage of Sunfall and 12% Starfall View attachment 134916 2015-03-25 22.35.txt
but I don't like that routine - ofters stays on same cases for 3-4 seconds. BUT overall same dps as Stars because of metter management of Sunfall/Starfall

I feel, Stars casting Starfall/Sunfall in wrong time. I'm not a owl-pro, but looks like - shoud it use on start of sonar phase? Because currently its cast as soon as available. I watched for it, and noticed - its often works during lunar phase only

Your last sentences are contradicting each other. But there's an option to only use starfall/sunfall in lunar. Otherwise it will do it when it comes available and the requirements are met.

I'm saying that other moonking casing Starfall only in sonar phase and have much more % of Sunfall in result
I'm having ~50% / 50% in Stars

so I'd like to say I need inverted option "Starfall only in Sonar" specially for that glyph
(currently there are only "Starfall only in Lunar")

This confuses me. Sonar does not exist, guessing u mean Solar? And I doubt they cast Starfall in solar only, that's stupid. Maybe if glyphed, they do sunfall in solar...

But the way u describe it, it doesn't make much sense to me.

i can speak from a GS perspective, when you switch specs the routine doesnt swap over easily at all. ive encountered numourous bugs when doing so. its always best IMO to just close and restart HB

Sorry, I looked again in logs, and looks like I'm completely dumbass [how such stupid owls can raid in mythic at all :D]
Yes, option "Starfall only in Sonar" (or "Sunfall only in Sonar" - have no idea how to call it correctly) will resolve all my issues
thanks!
