[Grandfathered] Stars - Flurry From The Sky

I bought Stars and used for a week for some BRF raids. I have couple esquires.

1. The CR would not precast wrath while shifting from lunar to solar eclipse. Starfire lands on solar eclipse. But it is working fine for solar > lunar eclipse. It will precast Starfire before going into lunar eclipse.
2. For multidotting, the CR would not cast 2nd dot until it reaches the peak. For example, we are at lunar eclipse, the CR casts moonfire on muti targets. And then it would just cast sunfire until reaching solar peak.
3. For some AOE situation, the CR will dot the mobs one by one and then cast Starfall. This does not happen all the time but just sometimes.

For 1 and 2, I'm not sure if this is the insisted mechanic for more dps. But for 3, it is definitely a dps loss.
And also in Beastmaster fight, Stars still do not detect spears very well. I have to do a lot of manual shifting target for multi-dotting and starfall.

I like your CR but above questions definitely affected my experience of using the CR. Hope you can answer. Thank you.

noticed a recurring issue where its just constantly targeting kromog even @ entrance/gruul/beastmaster/operator... of course it cant hit him so I just stand there facing that way, did I miss a setting or something?

as for multidotting, I haven't had too many issues I tend to starfall manual anyways, also since patch make sure u are glyphed for "glyph of untamed stars"... if u aren't using the minor glyph then it will only hit ur moonfire targets therefore the CR may be judging there isn't enough targets due to not enough dot coverage idk

Yes because Kromog is whitelisted, e.g. We can always attack him. Had to do that to resolve the Can Attack issues with him. But if the object manager sees him and auto target is on= issue. BUT you shouldn't use auto target in raid anyway.


For others, Stars has not received a patch for 6.1 yet, so it doesn't know about the glyph reversion etc

I know its probably a lot of work but offcourse all people are curious :)

stars working fine in 6.1, just use glyph of untamed stars and you set.

Pushed out a new version, awaiting store approval before it goes live.

Changelog:
  • Added support checks for Glyph of Untamed Stars
  • Tweaks to Balance of Power
  • No longer cancels a hardcast for starfall if we are not in combat
  • Disabling AOE disables the cancelcast for starfall as well
  • Updated casting predictions to precast for appropriate directions

Glad others noticed #1 Mirabis asked if I could get a video but I've been swamped. Hopefully his 6.1 update will address the issue since I think it's a bop timing issue. Casting wrath when should starfire and vice versa.

My faith is in Mirabis though he never disappoints.

Wow...sounds good.
I hope this update will fix my issues.

on some bosses is making me sad (HB is horribly detect it at all)

Nefarian encounter does't work at all Nefarian - NPC - World of Warcraft (25hm)

Blackwing Descen until Nefarian included ([09:17:50.649 N] [50:648]: BossBase: Detected Нефариан)

HB restarted during fight to have Nefarian only

then I lauched HB with alternative routine and killed him


Could you please add new advanced option "Run routine even if Mounted"?

The prediction of precast is still not satisfactory after update. Starfire/Wrath always land on opponent eclipse.

Upload a log with it please. It contains crucial information about the operations.

I will add an option to completely remove the automatic pause function, that should resolve those issues once and for all.
 
Tell me, please, why doesn't multidot on kromog mythic? Owl 678il dps no more than 40K in mythic ( How to use bot on Kromog if dont cast starfall automatically and dont dot the hands =(

That fight is hell for the bot- did u disable automatic pause in the gui?

tell me how to do it? or infusions optimally bot is on kromog because now mythic, it would be gorgeous if only he hands dot(

Notice how it's throwing a Wrath in at Lunar peak? I thought it might just be a glitch or something so I reinstalled HB and then tried it on a boss and I get the exact same thing, unless empowered, it will cast 1 wrath at Lunar peak :3

Whats your thoughts?
