Got Banned and Contemplating Botting Again

Hi guys,

Here is my scenario and I am just looking some advice. I go honorbuddy (gatherbuddy) and LOVED IT! But, I admittedly was not "botting smartly" and I left it running for way too low on a very small and repetitive path.. Anyways here is my situation:

this is for WOW...

1) Was on my friend's account and I botted way too long and got banned
2) I was botting on the same computer that I play my main on and my biggest concern is having my main banned, if I were to start botting again (I read a lot of it is up to how deep the GM wants to dig)

3) I'm looking to bot again, and I dont have time/knowledge/courage to use a bot to quest (i feel like i'd f it up and get caught)
4) I'm thinking about buying a brand new account and TRANSFERRING A TOON FROM MY MAIN ACCOUNT onto the new account. Is this move just asking for trouble if and when this new account gets banned for botting?
The toon i'm looking to xfer a level 80ish toon so I dont have to start from scratch.

Thanks for any advice and feedback. Sorry my writing isn't too great, english isn't my first language.

u dont need to have brain or time to questbot, just need to look at wow window sometimes for stuck or reply chat, but its all download HB download Kick's profiles, copy quest behavior and plugins from kicks to HB folder, load up your lvl 1 toon, turn on all plugins, and voila, best way to do it :P im on my 9 toon from scrat to 90 and nothing happen :)

I wouldn't worry too much about the main account you transferred the 1 character from..unless..

You decide to use that 1 character & new botting account to supply your main account.. & send it items through mail & what not..then you're asking for trouble..

There's no certainty though all you'll get is opinions & mine is if you intend on botting hard all day every day..maybe don't do that for awhile after the transfer..let that history get kinda old..some plausible got hacked account was used for botting unusual activity..

At the end of the day the only thing that will tie accounts together & hang them all is you..by connecting them with in game mail & what not..don't do that & I'd say you'd be better off ;-)

Ahh tyvm, this is what I needed to hear. I think I knew this all along, but I just needed to hear it from someone else. Thanks! I DO plan on supplying my main with goodies from the bot sooooo yea xD.

Hiya! Thanks for the advice! Are you referring to this profile? http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...es/50549-kicks-mega-profile-packs-1-90-a.html

I have no idea how to set it up but it shouldnt be too hard. I'll come back crying if I can't figure it out.

Thanks again!

Would using Recruit-A-Friend to get extra game time on both accounts be asking for trouble as well?! I think I am leaning towards starting up a brand new account so RAF seems pretty enticing. I just don't know if it is a safe thing to take advantage of!
Thanks

Running a bot on the same computer as your main but has no transactions (Trading gold or items via trade) is COMPLETELY safe.
They don't even ban the same Battle.net account, only the wow that had the bot on it.

Use auctions and guild banks to do your transactions and next time only bot as much as a crazy pro gamer would. E.G. Sleeps for 8 hours, takes a break for lunch/dinner

ahh thanks Rabbit!

I do have one more question!

My primary goal with a bot is to support my main. I did some researching and reading around the forums. Everyone seems to be suggesting doing transactions through gbanks.

I actually have a lvl 25 gbank on my main that is empty, if I invite just my bot to join (for trading gold, items, and gathering perks). Would that be too obvious? Even if it was... would my main be jeopordized?

Bottomline is I just don't want to lose my main. I have come to realize bots eventually get banned, especially if one is greedy.
