I used to use another bot called catchem and this used to have routes i could make and it would follow paths and altitude from mapzen/google so it would look like a normal person walking. i was also able to create routes and run them on the fly without stopping the bot.

also catchem had various settings i could randomize between different values so it was not just a set value every time.
