Goldprice still low

After a massive banwave like this that hit not only DB but all (more or less) public bots I know of, I would've expected the gold-price to go up at least a few cents. This has been the case for the last banwaves as well, prices would usually go up at least a few cents a day after. However, it's been two days now and there are still 250.000.000.000 up for 0.25? - that's gold worth of 62500?.

I read that some gold-sites stopped buying from private botters because they obviously have cheaper suppliers that will put us out of competition. Then I've read something about a new dupe and that the huge china-farms which should make up for the biggest part of the market didn't get hit. All speculations I guess.

The fact that prices went up for US contradicts this assumptions. Do you think that demand is just incredible low at the moment? I was saving up to sell after christmas, as I expected the price to slightly went up because of all the kids being liquid again. Too bad I lost about 3 billion of plain gold when banhammer hit.

Share your thoughts.

I think it has to do with tons of mules full to the brim on those servers from farms bigger than I can imagine. They have more than likely paid for the farms more than once over and all the gold sitting is dead weight. Their numbers depend more on how much they can sell rather than how much they can farm as their inventory far far exceeds the demand.

So yea, I can see farms selling 1m for way way way under market price just to move it and it will more than likely flood even at that price in which case they go even lower. The average person cant keep up, its just like big business.

They will sell 50b @ 0.15 rather than 20b @ 0.20, and their prices will keep going down until A) they run out of inventory (which is unlikely), or B) banwave on mules. Demand wont effect the downward trend cause they will sell @ 0.01 if it means moving product (gold)

Thats my opinion anyway.

p.s. There are more than likely obstacles in the U.S. that arent present in the other servers. Be it more policing / easier to get caught, to tax laws and other laws and regulations. Therefore there are less or less massive U.S. based farms. Just a guess.

Ok so in case you guys are to stupid to notice. 99% of mule accounts did not get banned. So the gold influx that bots had already created is still accessible.

We can use the dude who ran 190 accounts, his mules are fine. So his huge stockpile is still available.

At this point if he had 10bil gold between his mules....

Going to say this one time.

For ever 1 of these people we know about we have 10 more we do not. Gold is not in short supply only 3 days after a ban wave. Give it a week gold will go back up, once it does those who know how to capitalize on their efforts will and the market will go back down then back up.

When the stopdick flipped in my head and helpful constructive switch turned on, this guys did not perform.

DEBUG.

ERROR stopdick flip failure, proceeded to bedick flip PASS.

=(

p.s. i just noticed you liked my post, hopefully you can see the point of mine and acknowledge the criticism and have a laugh.

And it's still rising. This would mean that either:

- There is no dupe
- Duping is only present on EU
- Dupers can't cope with the high demand on US realms

When there was a lot of discussion about item duping going on everywhere and mostly on Asia in the wake of Moldran's video pointing it out, I had a counterpoint that while there was a dupe exploit being abused on Asia, it was since patched, and everyone seemed to have forgotten about the sheer amount of "rollback scamming Blizzard" that is/was going on. I also speculated that it would likely be that Blizzard would opt to Bind-to-Account items that were restored; it has finally happened. It is live now for Asia servers, and it will likely be juxtaposed and amalgamated to all servers if it proved to be a progressive action. <--------- Blue post https://tw.battle.net/d3/zh/blog/1523414/

There are allways dupes/hacks/bots. And about the high demand is simple not true. A dupe dont take 1 houre to dupe 1 item or 1M gold. Its done in a HUGE mass! Get as much as you can before you get banned. Same with botting ;)

1) not many ppl play this game
2) most gold comes from Asia anyway
3) ppl use *****ed version of bots, got banned poped new accounts, on *****ed versions again and bot just like nothing happened

The gold was on mules so that is still being distributed. Once that is sunk from people buying it and then buying stuff on the AH, the botters/Chinese farmers will have already gotten past P50 on their new accounts so more gold will be added to the economy again, keeping the price at 0.25 unless there is a floor drop or Blizzard starts banning mules. And Princess Kate's pregnancy

still enough gold left on thousand accounts because duping. just my opinion.
