GoldWrap can be best in slot for speed runs on many characters.
Combined with the Boon of the Hoarder, you can speed farm without any concern over toughness.
This is especially important to newer characters when you're stacking up materials to get Best in Slot gear and also to End Game geared people who need to farm massive materials.
Currently speed builds with bots and goldwraps can be very inefficient. This is due to the GOLD PICKUP mechanic. The Bot will backtrack to pickup stacks. If you're using something like an In-Geom or going for maximum speed this is a killer.
In T10, gold stacks frequently are in the 20000-30000+ range. So maxing out the stack setting doesn't help.
What is our option? Turning the gold pickup setting to off can be sketchy and yet it avoids a ton of backtracking.
This could be fixed by having the bot recognize the presence of the GoldWrap and then checking the armor buff. It could be as simple as telling the bot to pickup gold unless the character toughness is over 1 billion. If it's over 1 billion, turn off gold pickup.
This would need some tweaking to maximize performance... Like setting a radius to check for gold when toughness is below 1 billion that would help avoid backtracking.
It could also be setup to prioritize gold piles in the presence of an elite and under 1 billion toughness.
