Well I think if you ony set on selling gold you won't get any money untill Cataclysm comes out.
Even if Cata was released I think prices would not stay high for a long time.

After that thread was made I saw with my own eyes the prices drop, did you see how many views it had and how many posts?
Kick handed 10k leecher's gold buying site's on a plate, you do the math, If it improved the reselling scene in anyway and did no damage at all, If you can prove that, then I'll personally give you my house, my sister and my life saving's and please accept my apology on observing simple science.

Fact is the time/$ ratio is almost the same from vanilla times... Yes... we sold 1k gold for 100$, for a few days because the there was no one making over 1k before tbc and after that prices dropped in the 15-30$ range. After wotlk was anounced they dropped to 5$. But y was making 3-400g at the beginings, 1-2k in tbc and 5-7k now (daily with 1 account).... do the math... revenue is the same (allmost).

We still don't know what will be after the next expansion, how golds will be made... but i bet that if the average/farmer account would be again in the hundreds daily... we will receive again a few tens/k
