Gold on RMAH

Hello guys.

I was wondering, does anyone have an idea of how the "queing", regarding selling gold on the RMAH works?

Is it just like when you put an amount up you get a "que number", and then everything will be sold as it was put up?

Also, anyone noticed about its better to put up big amounts or small'er amounts?
My self, ive sold some 10mil's, 20mil's and a few 30mil's, while the 10 mil's was sold abit before the auction expired. The 30 mil was sold like 30min to 1 hour after it was put up.

It checks your reserve price in the order they are received. If you are next in que to sell at the listed .25 your gold is sold, if no one has .25 gold for sell it goes to .26 then .27 then .28 down the line until it hits someone that it has gold.

At least this is to my understanding.

Even after your thoughts are common sence, its pure speculation, because the RMAH developers play with much more issues, than we could expect.

Like picking from the pool with lowest price, but getting the auction, which match the exact buyers queue as first priority , if possible.
Example: Me buying 30mil, and even after you have listed 3x10mil first, and 1x30mil after, you will see your last 1x30mil sold, because the server will be loaded with virtually 1 transaction, not like 3 transactions after joining the 3x10m.

I am not a developer, but there is lots of stuff behind the scenes :D
 
We botters are making a lot of money for Blizzard through RMAH gold sales. They should be giving us free accounts to bot rather than banning people. lol.
 
They will make even more money if they force us to buy new accounts from time to time.
 
well fuck knows had 16,000,000 up on the RMAH for a day EU and it says when you search .27 x100,000 so i did mine at .25 and it hasnt changed it lol

True, if I were blizzard I'd sell gold under the table on the RMAH

I see alot of people thinking that blizzard is putting good items on the RMAH just so people buy them. Because there is no oversight commity, the Rmah is owned and ran by blizzard they can do what ever they want.

I don't believe Bliz is playing the RMAH in any way. I've said something similar before, if they are and someone on the inside supplied information to the authorities proving this (especially the US authorities), then that would be the end of Blizzard.
 
Put over 60m on the RMAH for .25 and haven't gotten a dime yet.

Why would someone do that ? To loose his job when comany had gone down ? Besides if blizzard is making such maneuver, it is probably run by a team of very few ppl, as is thier botting detection methods, which is not known to anyone except to small group of ppl who are developing and handling them.

You'll be surprised at the mentality of some people. Not everybody runs from the same moral code, or is reliant on their income.
