Gold is useless - where to bot for items?

So my bot can farm up to 400k G/hr, but with the RMAH up this kind of farming has become useless. Gold prices for really good gear are far beyond what you can farm.

Where do you farm to get valueable items or gear that is usefull for act 3 and on?
 
Gear out a melee class (won't be able to stack MF too high) and farm some areas in Act 3/4..until patch 1.0.3 that is. But I doubt it's worth it unless you already have a well geared melee.
 
Well I farm A3 with my WD, but i fear it won't be possible for Demonbuddy. On my bot account there's a so-so equiped Barbarian, but he dies on most of the elite packs in A1.
 
Or, stack up gold, sell on RMAH for $2.5/m when gold is sellable.

I don't think anyone will buy it at this price, really. Right now gold sells for 2€ per million and it's becoming cheaper.
 
$2.5/m is definitely doable many people including myself buy gold for 3-4 a million currently
 
The lowest you can sell 100k gold on the AH is 25 cents. So that's $2.50 per million, as stated.

So .. DB is not able to farm in Act4 for items? Or did I misread something?
Why use a melee class? Sorry Im really new to D3, only played guestpass so far.
 
the reason is inferno is crazy hard. mobs will 1 shot any ranged and will 1 shot melee if they are not super geared. the best it can do in act 4 is farm weapon racks.

I see the bigger issue being the bot finding something good and not having room to stash it or sell/salving it unless you have a really really good item rule setup.

You really don't know how its gunna play out. with the incoming gold sink/blacksmith viability your going to see a few changes in the gold market even from its current state, not counting the banned gold farmers stashes etc. in any case ur 2 BSP was it???? per mill thats alittle crazy, maybe on eu but I am still trading at a decent exchange rate far above that.

If anything I see mfing going down in the upcoming patch simply because youll be able to farm better gear in lower acts so there will be a higher chance u can farm easy shit hence items values will be reduced overall, but at the same time there implementing super high repair bills and etc just hold onto ur gf gear you wont regret it ;p

Also don't forget anyone that wants to sell an item for more than 250 will sell on the gold AH.

be pro and farm on multiple characters, you can get good items in almost no time!

Go hard or don't go at all, what I always say.

Right now DB can't farm much of inferno, it's simply too basic. Once it has better navigation, takes mob type/affix into consideration, position in a fight into consideration, effect of player skills into consideration etc. etc. it may be able to.

QFT. Also look for people selling items to cheap on GAH --> profit on RMAH

Right now 250EUR buys you 100 million gold
No one is going to spend 100 mil on a single item on a gold AH.

This is where third party websites, like playerauctions, come into play. No actual gold seller is going to sell on RMAH.

Did I say anything about Eu, im good off EU with all ur dupes and crazy farmers and low gold rate im talkin NA servers, thats where ur gettin ur good exchanges
