Gold is now sellable on the RMAH

Just put up 19.4 million... I am wondering if someone has to actually type in, "194" for the amount of 100,000's, to get my auction. Same goes for commodities. I put up essences and gems and still have sold nothing. I tried different variations of numbering, 25, 50, 100... tried putting up 1,000 just to see. Still nothing. But I see "Last 10 trades" at .25 cents all day long.

Like someone else said, there are probably hundreds of thousands if not millions of auctions going on and I just get the unlucky side of the coin and the system doesn't choose mine to sell.

Pretty sure its based on the order its put up in not random. if you're selling for .25 and someone is selling for .28 you would sell yours first but in the order of when you put it up for everyone who put it at .25
 
So reading through this... only ONE person here has actualy had their gold sell?
 
Btw has anyone else thought about hte implications of selling gold on the RMAH?

I mean if you sell hundreds of millions of gold in a month wouldn't that raise some flags? to investigate your main account. then they would see what ur mac address is and then search others on your IP / Mac?

then they find all your bots and you are screwed? i wonder if they could then ban your main account because they then tied your main account to your bots by the RMAH selling logs.

Your best bet is to diversify... If you make 39 mil per day on 3 accounts...

Sell 12 mil in RMAH (4 mil on each account) = $21.60 (after fees and crap)
Sell 12 mil to Private Buyers (@ $2 per mil) = $24 (if you wheel n' deal, you can definitely get more)
Buy 15 mil worth of GAH items to sell on the RMAH = $30 (after fees and crap)

That's a good $75.60 per day, but only $17.20 sold on each account daily. Still a lot, i guess...

You can cancel it whenever by the way. I put it up 2 hours ago and can still cancel it.
 
Still i dont think the average player makes 12m every day :P is what im meaning it could raise some flags. I wouldnt sell gold on RMAH with your main account i reckon.

It only looks like you made 4 mil in cash and 5 mil worth of gear (per account). But yeah... still quite a bit =P!!
 
Yeah that also means u will be holding onto x amount of stock which will be building up as you go because u will only sell 4mill gold a day. when u collect around 30m a day. i dont know i think a spare account just for selling on RMAH might work better.
 
hum seems like EU minimum price for 1mil gold will be 2.5 EUR this would be like 3 USD, thats a really nice price :)
 
Im just waiting to see if mine sells... I have a little under 100mil up, split into 5+ auctions of different amounts.... been about 2 hours now
 
No one should be selling gold on AH. Horrible returns.

100k gold = .25
100k of inferno crafting (current rate 1900) Will get you 50 x .25 = $12 and change.
Fierybrimstone is selling at 250k current rate of .49 on AH only 2X that of regular mats. I believe this item will set the tone if it moves up in price or not will determine how lucrative commodities on RMAH will be. Especially once the buff hits in 1.1 patch.

This will be interesting to see where people make their bets.
