Gold find or Magic Find? For making the most $$$$ in RMAH....

GF is better then MF

GF is very stable, you get like 500 GPH and you stay like that for as long as you bot. And you KNOW that after 2 hours you will certainly have 1kk gold.

While, MF is a higher chance of rarity/gear drop, but is not certain. You might go thru 8 hours of botting and just get blues. At same time you have a much lower GF . . .

So GF all the way, gets tons of gold and you might get lucky along the run and get a good item here and there.
 
anyone know if its possible to get boots with the following properties?

+main stat
+Gold find
+Magic find
+Movement speed
+pick up radius

really need one with those properties

Check the auction house, the search tab will only show properties that the item type can have.

Edit: Unless it's a Legendary/Set ofc
 
can only search 3 at a time, giving thousands of results

Getting that amount of GF requires quite some money and some patience searching items on the AH.
For movement speed I use 12% ms boots with 25% gf, Unity(ring) with 11% gf and 6% movement speed and finally hammer jammers (pants) with 7% movement speed (not entirely sure how much GF they have, not at home right now).

Besides that I was patient for other GF items, since I require them to have pickup radius aswell. Below i'll list what the maximum amount of GF is for that certain item, wich you can filter for at the AH:
- Helm, 25% gold find + socket. + pickup radius
- Amulet, 40% gold find. cant have pickup radius
- Shoulders, 25% gold find + pickup radius
- Gloves, 25% gold find + pickup radius
- Bracers, 25% gold find + pickup radius
- Ring, 20% gold find, cant have pickup radius, and unity cause of the movement speed
- Chest, 25% gold find + pickup radius
- Boots, 25% gold find + movement speed
- Legs, hammer jammers for the movement speed
- Offhand, 25% gold find shield. Yeah I use a shield as a wizard with +int on it instead of a source. Sources have a max of 20% gf.

Then gear your follower with 40% amulet and 20% rings. Enchantress can use the 25% gf 2h sword, templars can wear a 25% gf shield.

Keep in mind that I don't have the above stats all maxed out. Some have 22-24%. But I hope that gives a global view.

Why would you want all this mate? You will never find all these stats maxed out = leaving you with shit gear and so-so hybrid stats. If you want to farm gear (on act 3-4 inferno) you should go for magic find/dps/movement speed. If you want to farm gold, you should go for gold find/movement speed/pickup radius. Tho if you still want all these stats on your boots, Filter the AH for magic find, movement speed and gold find. After that specify how much those stats should atleast be(e.g. 25 gold find) and hope you get lucky.
Tho I doubt you'll find something you will be happy with.

Patch 1.03:
High-end items (items level 61-63) will now drop in all Acts of Inferno and Acts III and IV of Hell difficulty
The new approximate drop rates are as follows:
Hell - Act III and Act IV
iLvl 61: 9%
iLvl 62: 1.9%
iLvl 63: 0%
Inferno - Act I
iLvl 61: 17.7%
iLvl 62: 7.9%
iLvl 63: 2.0%
 
I was thinking the same thing Hikari. I'm testing it out now, but only with 208% mf (sucks compared to my 320%gf)

i would like to test it too but i have like 70% MF on my GF gears, but sadly, are you gonna test it manually?? :rolleyes:
 
Yeah I did for 3-4 hours. With my 210% mf (demon hunter, vault all the way), I didn't pick up a single item worth selling on the AH. In total, I got 3-4 ilvl 63 items that sucked (2 weapons with low dps and 1 armor with a poor stat roll).

I'm not sure if it's really worth it in the long run, but hey, It was something to do while I watched England beat Ukraine :D

Edit: I forgot to mention I picked up a legendary fist weapon (577 dps, 149 dex, 101 int, socket). The value on the gmah/rmah is terrible.

wow, cant believe you do it yourself, but the next match is gonna be 2 days later, are you gonna spend your time to farm it? i found it too boring for me to do it manually. really have no idea what im gonna do while DB is down
congraz on the legendary, but most of them cannot sell well :(

lol, i mean euro 2012. you can farm while you were watching the match but it just too bored to farm without doing anything else
