GMs killing people?

Is it really GMs that fly around killing people?

I doubt they are allowed to just mess and harrass a player becuase they "believe" its a bot. If there is proof a character is botting then they are pretty much just banned.

I have no idea, ive read so many strange things.
fx. Someone wrote on this forum, that he sometimes felt like he was boxed in, so he werent able to move, and he could fix it by relogging.
I also read that alot of others tried it, and they had same thought as me.
Please, lets make a serious discussion out of this.
Can it be blizz trying to spot botters, by fx looking for people who dosnt ress, or who stucks and dosnt react on it?

You could also be another Bot developer who wants to discredit HB.. because my chars dy onl because of sessoin invalid thingis

I was being serious. Since my days with pirox years ago i have heard seen and read hundreds of posts claiming the possibility of game masters messing and testing characters in game becuase of a weird bug or glitch. Not once has anyone of them ever turned out to be true.

With millions of players online every day shit is bound to go wrong or mess up once in a while for people. The difference is with players that bot, the newer sub's are going to freak out and believe its all a blizz conspiracy theroy to shut their account down.
 
Sorry but if you watch HB how it runs for 2 Hours in a region you see its HB I can tell that in every BG ther are 3-5 HB Bots running because they all take the same aktions so WTF whould GMS kill these chars off if you can see it that clearly??

I even said its dangerous to use STOA in BGBuddy because of that but nothing happens from boss or the rest Devs..
 
Something bugged underground. Has happened to me, you can remove your tin foil hats now.
 
Just check "what happened to me" in the combat log, jeez. The hackers insta-killing people is weeks old and was fixed.

Don't be paranoid and think any self respecting and respected company would even try to do something like this.
 
No, just no. It's bugged mobs/environmental damage and nothing more.

I was a GM for a game called Risk Your Life (RYL) by planetwide games and I used to do this for fun. I would port someone into what we called the Jail of many deaths. We'd summon them to an unleaveable room (no summons, no ports, no return to town). The room was an instant revive room so if you died, you respawned right in the jail. Every 5 seconds 20 random mobs would spawn and rape face. If the person didn't say something or follow the commands on their screen they just repeatedly died until they sent in a ticket.

A very good friend of mine was working as a GM in Paris from Vanilla to Wotlk. And as he told me they were only allowed to enter game as a GM to check on bugs/glitches.

He had to check something in a AV battleground where he thought he had the invisible mode on.. But it wasn't, so the whole horde team were attacking him in the middle of altarac valley.. He didn't die though, you know... GOD MODE.. xD So if a GM wants to mess with you if they can see that you obviously are botting, I believe that the GM could do lots of funny things to you. :)
 
WOW has many bugs, but GM instant kills? nah. even free bots can ress. There are som many ways to se if a person is boting, killing them is not one off them, if it was a GM he would move tha player to another zone or a black area where the bot would run around and try to find a way back, but a player would go "Uh what... hmm... ok i HS.!"
 
My opinion in this, is that its not GMs killing botters .. thats just huge paranoia from some sort of drugs "wtb"

BUT i seen alot of ppl hacking in to blizz servers "during my 8 years of playing " and killing ppl, Some of them are stelthed, even dead running around targeting ppl and /script on them so they die.
"My self have been attendence on 2 major hacks in my time of wow, both in SW.
One was some kind of "virus" that when every person runned closed to this person it instant died, "Almost hole SW/Goldshire was dead for awhile xD" And the other one mabey wasent so major but someone released a "cant remember name" HUGE boss in SW and blizzard couldent close down the server so they put in Alooooooooot of guards and shutdown the Log-in to this server.

Just imagen how maney people targeting World of worldcrafts servers every single day, must be 500 -1k + atleast? "From beginners to advance hackers"

My guess-lines including this aswell, if it was a GM they would put it to a diffrent zone and bot will try find a hot spot to go to!

From the small part I understood, I can only say no. Blizzard can always close down the servers, no matter how many skiddies are pinging them.
 
I was playing arena with a guy yesterday for cap. He just attacked a lvl 1 rabbit critter and got 1 shot and died, i doubt he botted.
 
i thought the same thing happened to me, but what happened was my char fell off something too high, when u hit the ground from far up you hit for your exact hp, see if maybe ur char/bot is falling of cliffs etc or even aggroing high level (??) mobs cause they will hit u for ur exact hp as well
