First I suggest to disable the frost shock options. These are enabled by default since I mostly played resto where i needed them.
And as you already said they might fuck up the flame shock rotation.
Your damage should significantly go up after you turned the options off.
The current Flame Shock logic works as follows:
- if your target has no debuff, apply FS (no FS is worse than a low FS)
- if your target has no improved FS, refresh it with an improved FS asap
- if your target has an improved FS, than its allowed to override the FS with a fully improved FS once the debuff drops below ~10 seconds. It is NEVER allowed to replace an improved FS with a non or half improved FS.
- if your target has no FS but a target next to your target has (an improved) FS it tries to spread the FS from the offtarget to your target with LavaLash
- the combat routine remembers improved FS even the ones which got spreaded. It always tries to keep up as much imp. FS as much as possible.
So the logic for a good FS behaviour is already in the cr, but having the frost shock options ticked "will/might" destroy your dps with FS.
To fix this, I will implement a max HP value box for allies, so that the frost shock options only kick in when an ally is below x% HP and hes getting attacked.
But until that please disable the frost shock optins.
