Im sitting on a stable 20 tps, instead of just flaying or whatever it's casting VT twice sometimes three times in a row and not on two diff targets.
Also, perhaps a long throw but is there any possibility for a mind spike option that will cast on focus target when the dots aren't up for Clarity of Power?
It will make the damage output a lot higher than it mindlessly Mind spiking current target when you can get a 40% increase on a different target that isnt affected by dots. Thus more pressure which SP is about. Just a thought. I'm currently manually swapping between targets. I see the mind spike T7-1 option and I can set it to 100 but i'm not sure if that does anything like that? Aside of that, it tends to prioritize VT and SWP over Mind Blast? A lot of random VT repeated casts, not mind blasting off CD and thus a lot of wasted "filler time" that isn't used to Mind Flay or damage at all. Currently it seems the rotation only dots up first, the mind blasts, spams the button when it isn't even available (on cd) which causes my character to do some weird start-cast animation sequence (looks off and suspiscious) and then casts VT again/or use Devouring Plague before mind flaying, which by that time has already worn off Insanity since with max orbs you have like 4/5 seconds which VT recast for a 2nd time destroys entirely. I'm not completely sure what the rotation is doing exactly but then again i'm no expert. It just seems a little bit flawed.
I apologize if i'm ignorant and neglecting something. I'm a big fan of the gladiator suite however i feel like the disc version of priest, and the warlock affliction routines are way superior than this shadow priest one. Disc plays flawlessly to me, affliction does immense damage whereas shadow does below par with better gear. Regardless, the routines are amazing. I'll take what I can get.[/QUOTE
i think shadow is not working properly indeed.. disc feels fine
