Gladiator Suite - Hunter

when i select my routine it says 2.18.x i just deleted the hunteR_.xml from the settings, should i be deleting anything else to refresh the streaming update?
The streaming should be fine. It might just be that the displayed version number was wrong.
2.20 has been approved by now so can you check if you get 2.20 now?
 
nvm fixed the problem by complete re-install.

I've uploaded a new version with the following changes (keep in mind that the buddystaff has to approve it first which may take up to a few days):

Changelog:

- Some small minor fixes to increase overall performance
- NPCs will now be ignored in Ashran unless they are attacking you (this should also increase the performance)
 
There a way to disable traplauncher ?
I would like to use manual soil traps without traplauncher.
 
Does anyone know why the hunter just randomly puts frozen trape some where like 10 miles away from the healer?
People even start to insult me that my traps are sooo bad... xD

Why sometimes the freezing trap will be placed on the "sky" which is telling others I am robot.
Is there any check on the point to place the trap whether it is on the ground?

have you ticked the "F-Trap only on debuffs"?
You need to tick it and set the value to 10 or sth like that.

Traps are thrown to a point where the player might be when the trap lands.
BUT if the player is moving in zigzags its very unlikely that you will hit the trap.

So only throw long range traps on stuns/roots and for non snared units I would suggest to only try to trap them below a distance of 10yards.

This can only happen on ramps and its probably a meshing error.
So either stand right next to the unit on ramps and dont yolo traps or completly avoid throwing traps on ramps.
 
Gonna try that thanks. i thougt about that, that he throws the trap where players might go but it seemd realy unlikely as the trap was way to far away^^ even not the right direction.

I have another situation. Before I add the debuff of binding shoot stun into the list which will enable freezing trap.
Also at the same time, I enable the explosiontrap with binding shoot and auto throw freezing trap to extend the cc.
Then what happened is:
1. I use the binding shoot on healer
2. I use the explosion trap near healer
3. the healer is knocked away and during the flying, the healer was stunned.
4. The CC start to throw the freezing trap on the flying healer who have the debuf of binding shooting stun.
5. Sometimes, the trap was placed on the sky and didn't hit the healer.

Then what I can do is to remove the binding shot stun debuff from the list. And when the healer is stun by the binding shot, I need to go close to the healer to place the freezing trap.
 
Hi Toizi, what is the logic behind this function? When the binding shot will be used when it is enabled?

When you have enabled T2 Talent under Routine>Defensive you should be able to configurate the T2 behaviour in the Crowd Control Options tab.
 
Is there an option to add 2 extra hotkeys for using snake trap on focus target (just like explo or freezing). Snake trap on the focus target jukes most of sacs, displacer beasts, grounding totems, deaths etc. That would be very useful.

Another thing is, I could really use a hotkey to cast flare on mousover, just like DK CR has Death n Decay on mouseover hotkey, same functionaliy but with flare.

Also, how is it possible to use the traps without trap launcher? Every time I cancel it, the bot just turn it back on right away.

Oh GOd, Just logged in to play a full weekend of my beloved hunter, RUn ashrans, dailys, WORLD PVP AND FOR F***SAKES MY CR CASTS EXPLOSIVE TRAP ON CD!!! PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATLY!!!

EDIT: WHAT THE S*** now its casting all the traps on CD!! this is so annoying....

The flare hotkey definitely seems like a good idea for flaring manually. I am unsure about the focus snake trap but I will think about it.

To use traps without trap launcher you can create a macro with "/cancelaura Trap Launcher /cast Trap" and add the bind to the short pause list.
While short pause is active it should not try to refresh trap launcher the way it normally does
 
@toizi, is there a way to re code the Survival hunter to use the lock n load proc more efficiently? Right now it shoots the explosive proc 3x in a row on each 1 second CD. This cancels the dot ticks on the target. this really hurts the overall dps of the hunter by atleast 1/3. with hunters being gimped right now this only makes matter worse.

any reason why my CR spams killshot over and over when in killshot range but never actually fires the killshot? it just triggers the GCD but nothing gets fired out at all :S
