Hi, i love the new buddystore, but there's one thing that really bugs me.
Why are we forced to update the routines? That's horrible.
I understand the reasoning behind that, but as a buyer i really want the possibility on staying with a release that i like without updating it.
I have experience of honorbuddy, and in these years i cannot count the times when not updating a routine saved my ass before a raid.
I always don't update until i'm absolutely sure that there are no bugs on the new routine, and when i feel confident with a release, i use it, i grow accustomed to it. I don't like surprises, like last minute updates that fuck up my raid night.
For example i'm using a healing routine in these days, and it worked very well overall, i tweaked the parameters, learnt to manually add the spells that didn't worked, and i was healing heroic dungeons without a problem.
Tonight, i open honorbuddy to do a dungeon with my guild and "DING!UPDATE!" and the routine was completely fucked up, even using the old parameters i went oom every single time and it was a nightmare, i had to play manually.
I pay for routines, and if i want to stay on a particular release because i find it stable i should be capable of doing it.
Tonight it was just an heroic dungeon, i don't want surprises during progression.
I don't care if it's the beginning of the expansion and the coders have to adjust.. that's not the point, in MoP even after two years there were bugged releases every now and then.
