Giles is moderator now

Was he hired by Bossland to work for the buddyteam??
 
Yea I saw that, congrats to Giles for the promotion :D .
 
he now has moderator privileges for the demon buddy section, anything beyond that i cannot discuss, since really its no ones business but his.
 
Congrats Giles. You deserve it for the awesome work, hope you get some piece of the pie also from DB profits now. Continue with the amazing work please.

Just to be clear - it's really to help moderate all the plugin stuff on the forums - as Trinity stuff in particular was starting to overspill everywhere, with new threads popping up just for Trinity asking class-related questions, support questions etc.

So don't think of me as a forum moderator - as I'm not - I can't (and wouldn't anyway!) go banning users or help you with forum registrations on new accounts or anything like that - that's still all the job of actual forum moderators! I'm still just Giles, a community dev working on my plugins and sharing them all - business as usual - and I will be around for a while yet continuing to work on Trinity, adding in Demon Hunters and evolving it and patching it continually, and maybe other plugins and completely new enhancements in the future! :D

Big Congratulations GilesI tried reading through your code, in the hopes of trying to stop being a leecher and start contributing but I just dont seem to make head nor tail of it all. Hopefully over the next few weeks I can get to grips and contribute some stuff for you to moderate ;pBest Wishes from a Kentish chap

Your contributions to the community are also appreciated, I think your plugin/profile definitely has lots of potential. Definitely got a lot of talent on this forum between you Giles and others. I think there is a great future for D3 botting here :)

It makes a big difference if you have a community that is willing to help each other out.

I am looking to improve the PartyLeader/Dude plugin, but at the moment I have to work out what does what in the API, which I thoroughly enjoy doing. Absolutely love problem solving and researching.

Another thing I am working on is a half decent Profile creation guide. That will take a little while to put together. It's in a very, very rough state, but the sections so far are (from the CONTENTS page):

1) Introduction

2) DemonBuddy Profile tag list + brief description

3) Tags - Examples of use
  • Moving along a route
  • Using an instance portal (cellar)
  • Using a Waypoint
  • Using conditions ( <If></If> <While></While> )


4) Case study ? let's create a profile or two

It's just a skeleton at this point, where the only real flesh is in section 2 DemonBuddy Profile tag list + brief description

More parts will be added to the sections, especially section 3 Tags - Examples of use, and possibly more sections.

Giles ain't gonna like me bumping this post twice.... oops.... insta ban! lol ;)
