Awesome post! Calling newbies stupid and talking to them like they're dirt makes you extra special. You're snarky like a 14 year old girl, which is completely different from the way every other elitist dickhead on the internet talks. I'll bet you giggled to yourself the entire way through typing that post thinking of all the likes and +reps you were about to receive.

There is a lot to learn about DB and botting in general for a newcomer. I've been using it and reading this forum for over a month and I still learn new things every day. Formal documentation is almost nonexistant, which is insane for a program that people pay money for.
 
I got two to add to the faq.

You must run demonbuddy.exe as an admin.

If you get errors immediately after demonbuddy auto updates itself, you need to manually download the latest copy of demonbuddy and extract it to a new and empty demonbuddy folder.

Actually a lot of the people who post are people who bought a day 1 pass, did no research and, in are in turn yelling at devs to make their shit work. Also there is a lot of formal documentation its called a search button.

There is no guide for the bot because Diablo III doesn't work.

This is the botters fault (yes you and me, we are the cunts that broke the game).

A legitimate concern. There are a few solutions with varying degrees of complexity, I'll mention three of the best ways to do it, from SIMPLE to COMPLEX!
A: VMware #1: VMware is a program that creates a virtual machine that runs from your computer. It really puts a computer in your computer. You have to either buy this program, or download it from shady corners of the internet. Once you have VMware installed, you're going to need a windows iso. Pick whatever version you fancy, there are certain optimized ones that require less resources (such as windows 7 ultimate sp1 x32 lite v3 by nil-nt.iso) but if you're not comfortable, a full windows 7 iso is fine. Once you have the VM set up, simply drag and drop your diablo 3 folder from your real computer to the program files on your virtual computer. You'll create a virtual machine for each copy of D3 you want to run, with a separate Demonbuddy folder in each. For added security you can also use a virtual private network to change the IP address on each VM.

B: ISboxer. This is less resource intensive than the first VMware option, but i've never tried it so I can't help you. Sam_m316 sent me this PM that explains how to set up ISboxer. C: Vmware #2: There's a detailed guide on how to run multiple bots from multiple VMs in a fashion MUCH more optimized than I mentioned above. Here it is . If you're bad with computers this is probably not for you.

Virtual Machines are overkill... just have separate folders for each instance of D3 you wish to run.

The post contains answers to common concerns and questions that people ask. Is there a bit of sarcasm present? Sure. Is it well deserved? Yes. People that don't take 5 minutes to look something up before posting the exact same thing don't need your sympathy. After you've responded to the same stupid question 5 times, then maybe you'll understand.

and @ sko: don't you have to add -launch to the shortcuts to even get it to work doing that? and doesn't it take a ridiculous amount of time for it to start up? I'm not sure how to get it to launch otherwise.
 
So this bot is as safe as hellbuddy? I nvr got ban with hellbuddy but i am hearing that you get banned with demonbuddy is that right
 
I have never used hellbuddy so I dont even know how "safe" it was.
You can get banned with demonbuddy, the same as you can get banned with any bot. Demonbuddy itself isn't detected, but certain repetitive actions are probably flags.
..also did you read FAQ question 12? :/

Not if you are concerned about having the same mac id's. shrug. I just use ISboxer
 
Well Im just about to download demonbuddy for first time. Tried searching threads and any sticky's, but have two questions I couldnt find answers to. First: What is a "session". Trying to figure out which package to purchase... saw the one year, one session, but then saw the 1 year, 3 sessions... so what is a session. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Second: If its paid in Euros... can I still buy with my card US dollar.
 
A "session" is 1 copy of DB running. So a 3 session license allows you to run 3 copies of DB at once.
Yes you can pay with your American CC, but I would suggest using PayPal since they don't charge a conversion fee.

I'll add it to the OP in a bit. for now,
1 session = 1 bot (copy of Demonbuddy running at one time)
One session means you can have demonbuddy playing one diablo three account at a time (and only on one server at a time).
It's not attached to your bnet account in any way so you could use one Demonbuddy session to bot 12h on one account, and then switch accounts and bot 12h on another.

As far as buying it, yes you can buy it with a US card as far as I'm aware. It will just be converted to the corresponding amount of dollars (and there might be a conversion fee)
