Ghostly Fisherman profile?

Would it be possible to have a profile made that will camp out in the ghostly fisherman's spot, maybe fishing or just hanging out, and if the NPC appears interact with it and accept his item?
 
Sure, if you know how to interact with that NPC...

I haven't seen him yet to know what options to choose or how the event goes.
 
I hadn't thought of that. I haven't been able to catch him around either.

You interact with him and choose the first gossip option. That's it.
 
and so the profile would look like..?

His itemnumber is 64004 from wowhead. any chance you could show a nuub to to make a camping profile that say...fishes till it finds him, or mails fish if bags are full, then flys back and fishes more till, cycling till he shows up?

If you use an interactwith, the toon is simply going to stand there unless attacked until he spawns. If you want a profile that simply runs there and camps him then interacts with him once he spawns, I can hook one up pretty quick after the auth problems are fixed with WoW.

I have a profile now. It would be nice if a plugin like therarekiller could detect the mob and interact with it.

I wrote a plugin last night, and it found the npc over night, interacted, but the gossip option didnt work and it sat there for like 2hours not getting the item :((((((((

Are there multiple gossip options or something?

First option should be the right one.
I think someone wrote that on this thread. Please send me the plugin when you have made it :-)
 
How oftin does he spawn? I would set relog to keep logging me in on tuesday but idk if blizzard would like that and camp the spot. He is sure to have spawned right after a reset correct?
 
what do i run this as? grind? Duh, questing :)

Seems to run for about 20 mins than stops? no errors or messages. May not like that my monitor turns off?

Mine seemed to run for about 30 mins than stopped. Didnt find anything last night after i got it temp fixed. Knowing my luck it spawned in HB down time. :(
