Getting Authentication Failure (first time user)

I decided to try out DB for a day before I make any decision about buying a lifetime session, but every time I attempt to log in to the bot I get told my key is wrong. I have tried running DB as admin, I have turned off my firewall/antivirus, tried a different router, and so far no luck. I am in the US so it is not because I am on a German IP. I contacted email support and after a couple emails they told me I should make a post here and have Tony look at it. I have used Honorbuddy without any authentication issues.

are you on a Limited network or something?
 
Are you by chance attempting to connect using your username/password that you used for this forum? (IE: Waffle2/*****)?
 
Nope, I am using the key I got through the email (it matches the one on Buddy Auth).
 
enable your firewall and set an exception for DB,let me know plz
 
Hi Tony, I re-enabled my firewall and added an exception for DB as you asked, and still get the error.
 
make sure that ports 5031 and 810 are opened on your router
 
Alright, I'll check that real quick. I appreciate you taking the time to help me figure this out.
 
I went ahead and opened up the ports on my router and still no luck. I am going to try it on my laptop and see if it works there, and if it does maybe see whats different.
 
No luck on the other PC as well. Is it possible it is a key error?
 
I figured it out for now, I uninstalled my AV and firewall entirely and switched to a new one and it is working now. Thanks for your assistance Tony!
