General discussion about bans

I've yet to have any issues, I have 1 150$ Founder account and a 2nd patron account. Scarecrow/Radar/TradeRun plugins. Same IP, same PC.

I think it's the questing that 1 acc all I did was quest till lvl 9 and logged in now today and banned so it's definitely a delayed ban.

I don't think it is unless your guy got stuck and it was just bad timing, I've been leveling with that questing bot for the last 4 days 24/7 just making character after character for farms, but I have noticed since they updated the quester it hasn't run as smoothe. Someone had to of seen you and it was shit timing.

I was supervising the entire time it did not get stuck once.
I did not trade gold etc and I was chatting ingame with players about shitchat so there was nothing botlike going on.
 
I ran 2 characters 1-25 with the questing plugin and the next day they got banned.

today I tried making a few characters only to have them disconnected by the game master about 2 minutes in, all different IPs. I tried changing my HWID, Deleting my cookies when making new accounts, and of course new IPs but nothing fixed it. I made a new account and ran it with the legitimate starter without archbuddy running and no disconnect, I launched the same account with archebuddy and it still didnt disconnect.

I dont know what I should take from this so I'm just posting the info here for you smart people.

Edit: another thing is all the accounts that got kicked where the asian race, the one that didnt was an elf.
Edit 2: also all the accounts kicked where made with a @mailinator account and the one that didnt was made with a gmail

Just curious, everyone that got banned. Are any of your accounts Patron or are they all f2p that got banned.?

One of mine were patron. I am waiting for a GM To respond to my ticket. I am blaming it on my G5 Logitech Keyboard macro and not knowing that could be considered 3rd party.

Yeah that's them getting a little to picky and strict but... that could be due to amount of ridiculous bots out right now so there just pegging people for everything that's afk that they are seeing maybe.

What/where you doing and were you when you got banned. What type of macro was made?

Honestly, I spent about 3-4 hours mining thst morning. Had about 2-3 reports filed against me. Not because I looked "botty" but because I had 72K mining proficiency which caused me to mine a node in less than two seconds. They thought I was "speed hacking".

So in turn, I always removed the debuffs the moment they were placed on me. When I was banned I had only my Logitech keyboard spamming jump every five mins. I wasn't even botting. But I was logged into updater.exe.
 
That suck's balls. I hope they release the account back to you. Keep us updated :(
 
Sorry to hear that Orlok i also use updater.exe to 3ple log in my account i dont bot on them im just using it to have 3 clients running. the 2 are just afk i hope i wont get banned lol
 
This is pretty scary for someone just starting to use the bot. Is this something I should be worried about? I mean it's obviously dangerous to bot, but this seems excessive and abnormal.

Also, do mods every comment on things like this?

Haha, thanks. I will def keep everyone updated.

As of yet I still have not received a reply. I am waiting for the initial reply from a GM to be a copy & pasted " our records indicate, blah blah blah..." then it's time to tango. =)

Archebuddy only has Out, and he's the developer, other than that it's just general mods who can't really comment on the use of a bot they don't use.

Most, if not all of reported bans have been on players using the questing addon

Don't use the level bot, problem solved, 99% of people banned used the level bot.

Been using my heavily modified TradeRun bot fr 24h (except maintenance downtime) and no issues.

Fair enough, but the level bot is what I'm interested in =)
 
Hi all. Every update they can add something hidden to try find bots. But in this case we get 100+ bans as a ban wave. All another cases, as i think - its player reports\delayed bans\bad ips\etc\etc\etc.
Anyway i starting review again all. Use with caution AB on mains. Its bot primarily, and bot allways can be banned.

Thanks for the response, Out! Would you say to not use the bot for awhile? Or do you think this was just one banwave and it might be safe for a bit?

This is going to sound crazy... I think it is safe to do so. Again, I don't think I got banned for anything other than my keyboard keeping me in-game while /AFK. I have not had issues since the bot released. I've also never been banned in the past using buddy products.
