General discussion about bans

also, if the whole community is using the same path.db3 from the questing profile, its normal they will take measures against it... If it is easy for us to see coords, it's easy for them. I think ?
 
Yeah that's the presumption that I'm making that most of the bans we're seeing are on people who've used the questing plugin on their accounts
 
i used my lazyraider profiles, playing "manualy". no unatended farming. also used questing a few days ago for my 2 twinks. Also used antiafk script and scarecrow.
last thing I tested, was my trade run plugin for Tigerspine -> Arcum Isis and Tigerspine -> Falcoth Plains. Ran both router 2-3 times. Despite the time I used AntiAFK (of course) I was supervising the bot
about 90% of the time.
 
Every single ban report that I've seen so far has had the user running the Questing plugin at some point.
and Bed, I have no idea how Trion is dealing with bans in ArcheAge, you could get gods disconnected, could of got disconnected by gm your game could of even closed with no explanation, honesty I have no idea.
 
Honestly i see alot of bots farming, and leveling i suppose you were one of these really obvious bots that preform the same exact movement and don't talk and repeat the same exact combos everytime. Obviously you will sooner or later be banned from doing the obvious.

he used the questing plugin, the same plugin hundreds of other people are using, same coordenates and actions, if a GM is siting in the firran start zone he can easily spot the bots from the players .
 
true, all i use the bot for is harvesting my crops and planting, i don't afk bot so i don't think i have anything to worry about... yet...

as ppl said it probably is HWID ban , also they can be cookies tracking if you use the same browser to create the accounts
 
damn, just purchased my 3 day trial. I guess I'll have to forget about using it until this gets sorted.

sorry to the dudes who got banned! :(
 
It's actually worse I haven't used the bot and I have gotten banned they are basically banning everyone with more then 1 account on the same ip right now....
Makes me really pissed off.

I am logging into my other account and 99% sure they've banned it too....

There is alot of valid reasons whereby multiple accounts would come from a single IP so I doubt that.

I didn't bot on them.
I said in the chat that I was wondering if there was any land on this server boom disconnect by GM.
Log back in muted and then banned I didn't do anything else.
 
I have 6 clients on right now but their all also Patron so they may look the other way? ... They could also just be sweeping by watching people. I saw someone with 4 bots in one area just farming stuff same combos over and over and over.
 
Actually they might have detected the bot.
I had my bot attached when I logged in the other account and I got banned.

I logged into my other account without bot and it's not banned.
To be honest I didn't actually use the bot so I only had it attached I can't find another explanation since I only typed something in chat about a trial I asked like how much is his max sentence and then boom muted and ban.


I'm glad I didn't buy a lifetime or monthly session really woulden't use the bot right now until it's clear what these bans are about.

I've been botting all day on 6 accounts perfectly fine, questin 1-30, scarecrow farming, and grinding, Guess ill call it a night to be safe.
