I've seen a lot of threads requesting a gem crafting plugin, but no real response. Eventually someone links one of the billion auto it versions, but I know a lot of ppl including myself are not trying to increase ban chances with that sort of solution (note: even logitech keyboard macro maker software has received bans for their users). I among many others would LOVE a gem plugin for db. Is there any chance one of this communities' amazing devs would pursue this?

As was stated in those "lots of threads" DB is not capable of this yet.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be offensive in the post if it came off that way. Is there any talk among dev's to include this functionality? It is widely desired, and far superior to selling raw gold. At least, at the time of the last ban wave, I was making an extra 1.30$ rmah for the gems over the price of the raw gold. Plus, the gem's sell almost instantly as well.

You didn't come across as offensive, just that the question has been asked many times before. As for dev talk, from what I know, things like random dungeon exploring are taking precedence over "smaller" issues like crafting items.

Random dungeon exploring and the like, are major feature upgrades, that will be great etc. However, I can't imagine it would take nesox more than 35 min to add api functionality to db so that the community can make it's own plugin. Especially since gold is hard to move now, but gems always sell, and at a premium over their gold cost.

It is kinda weird that this feature are still yet to be implemented. Just saying :S

:( really need it with this crashed economy too. gems always sell for some reason. when i take the time to craft them

get several accounts, set them all up for gem crafting, multibox (or whatever it is that one can do so that all instances of d3 mirror mouse input), click a bunch, profit.

I've got an autohotkey script that does it for me. Crafting 729 gems into a radiant star takes about 20 minutes of clicking and sometimes you can turn turn 400k+ profit on each gem... I've done it a few times but I'd rather just have the account out farming gold and items.

A person could have tons of lv1 bots buying, crafting, and reposting gems for 1mill+ GPH which would be nice because you wouldn't have to worry about leveling the bot but you are looking at a few 100 million gold that'll be locked up in expenses and a small shift in the gem market can really hurt your turnover.

Its really only profitable to use gems to move gold.... Since gems sell faster than gold on the RMAH...

I tried it with the whole multibox thing and it helped some but it was still tedious as hell.

add that into the fact the gem market is constantly undercut and its irritating as shit trying to move 1bil+ gold worth of gems. an extra 0.3-0.5 per mil was awesome and i was excited utnil it took me 2 days and about 30 relist to sell them.

sounded good, but didnt work out very well for me.

I always just list them at .02 under whatever the current going rate is that it gives me by default(was still significantly ahead of the gold value, and actually sold unlike gold). Sells within 15-45min. The whole crafting part though is a nightmare yah

Outside of gems almost nothing of mine is selling right now though. Not sure how much the AH bug is effecting that, or game state, but sales have slowed down like crazy
