Gearing Tipps for a Newb please

I have a 60 Barb and a 60 Monk.

I have 100m to spend on both.

I know which Build I have to use but could you guys give me some Tipps for the Items?

just as a general guideline, i go for
24% movespeed on all my bots
usually 500-600 base all res, dying is unproductive
lifesteal/life on hit is a must
100k dps
35-40k hp +
2k+ mainstat/1k+vit
this bot may die sometimes,
with 50m you should easily hit these and probably get a lot more

Barbarian - Go WW

Weapons - 900+ DPS Mainhand with atleast 60% Crit hit dmg and a socket... Offhand, 750+ DPS w/ 60%+ Crit hit dmg, 3% Lifesteal, and socket
Amulet/Rings - Attackspeed + Crit chance first, then crit hit dmg - str if you can get it
Boots - Firewalkers (very, very cheap)
Bracers - Lacuni Prowlers - (Crit chance starts making them uber expensive)
Figure out the rest

Most important stats
6% Lifesteal (If you don't have high enough DPS, you'll e stacking that to 9% with a passive skill)
500 Resistance (Minimum)
Roughly 30k health
45%~ Crit hit chance
30%+/- Attack speed
2k+ Strength
24% Movement Speed
As much crit hit dmg as you can get
As much gold find as you can (for GPH)

These stats will be efficient in MP0 (deaths here and there [shitty combos]) and the potential for MP1. If you're running A3 (as most people will), run MP0.

I usually get these stats for roughly 10mil gold or less (my last 2 bots I got these stats for around 5mil!). Be patient and start hunting for the items while your bots are leveling.

This is all highly relative; it depends on what you like/are accustomed to. I for example run a different build with 2h skorn now. For some reason i could not make WW build work well with skorn, pretty sure it is cuz of the low attack speed. Maybe i will try again just for the heck of it. If you are interested, this is the build i am running now at MP1 ~22-3 mil exp/h.

To guarantee NO DEATH, you're easily looking at 50+ mil. For 5-10 mil, you can easily build a barb that only dies to those random combination packs (but eventually goes back and kills them). I spent 5 mil on my last set of barbs, and was getting like 1-2 deaths per hours.

If you're looking at actually making money off of DB, spend like 5 mil and not 50+. Just my two cents.

Well, it gets 650 items/hr and 23mil exp/hr so i wouldn't call it garbage. Of course i got ton of attack speed. Same eq works worse for WW, tho.

Honestly, I don't hardly touch the bot. The only thing I modify if click corpses and distance it will loot/attack things. I've never really seen any improvements from Selective whirlwind.

The only thing I heavily modify is the loot tables and types of items it will stash.

I'm considering making a video guide and picture guide for new players to the forums and base one guide on a 5 mil budget and a 10 mil.

The problem I have with the Skorn build is that for it to be fully efficient, it costs a lot of money for a good skorn and the items that compliment it.

Out of curiosity, how much have you spent to gear your barb?

About 30 mil maybe a bit more. But it uses overpower/killing spree instead of WC and has 5500 armor and 500+ all rez. That was my goal when i was buying eq.
