Gearing new Crusader.

So I got boosted to 70 and since then I've not managed to get any good gear. I was trying the bombardment build similar to this: http://www.d3planner.com/996502774 but I can't do any solo rifts for the life of me because I have no damage output. Where can I go from here? I'm willing to put my build on hold if it means I can buy items from a vendor and use them for damage.

I have another character than can speed rifts but wouldn't know how to set up the bot to keep strength items as they don't roll on my character.

1. Learn to use Kanai's Cube.
2. Farm mats with your speed rift character.
3. Convert rare items into legendaries with your crusader.
4. Success!

Like he said, convert rare's to legendaries/set. Get the Thorns set (invokers) to start with, then farm with it to get your ancients for bombardment setup. That's what i did. Ran full Invoker, got up to maybe Grift 56 with it. Finally collected my ancients and rings, now farming Grift 73-74 comfortably.
