Gear / Build upgrade after Paragon 100

at plvl100, it's better to make a set with Gold find and Magic find? or go all DPS to kill quikcly?
 
anyone tried the Throwbarb build? is it efficient? like 3H spear, reduce cost on belt and some other items... ?

i had a barb that items alone sold for over 6.750B on privet trade's now i bought a new set for him in 20mil and his running mp1 on 150K unbuffed DPS 50K HP and 600AR with CC-58 and CHD-555%(funny number) and that is with a 20mil investment on the new gear
i dont know where you are living but in our world 120mil can do a 250K DPS barb easy

Could you share what items for that price can bring those stats? Is that using Skorn? I am not the best AH shopper but for such stats the item cost is usually 100+m, not 20m
 
Shield on a bot is a waste ! unless you die alot - and if you die alot you are doing something wrong ! i was using shield but then I got a skorn - then mobs just died - you will get a massive increase with a semi decent skorn - and you will need less survivabilty. because they die faster !

Get a skorn with 1200+ dps, 150+CD, 300+ str, and loose the shield.

I'm doing WW build tho - so might differ from your build.
 
which MP? you use primary skill with WW or just WW for primary? What is the outcome, GPH IPH ?

few months back you needed shield, or at least from what i've seen, didn't try skorn yet, but i will...
 
ww barb with a skorn 1.200 dps 160cd 315str 5.6ls, about 120k dps unbuffed.
running gnome's alkaizer mp0, 510+ gph, not sure the iph tho.

ah, that's a p69.
 
i am doing same GPH with paragon 100 and 45k unbuffed MP1
 
exactly. at p100 mp0 i'll be easily doing a lot more than you are.
 
more probably, but not alot more, you must take into considiration that you have my damage x3, and you are doing same GPH but yeah you are 30 levels behind, you will probably rise to 600 gph but thats it.

btw: i am also testing skorn ATM :) lets se how it goes
 
more cause i'd bump up to mp1.
wearing a ruby gem on helm for xp right now, is why i'm doing mp0.

but yeah, prolly won't go past 650gph.
 

so i changed to some cheap skorn for testing, doubled my dps from 45k to 94k, lose 70 resists from Storm and 38% block, also added 3%life steal IK belt and Bloodthirst (3% LS) passive instead of Superstition. Changed HotC helm to str Andys helm with socket 20% fire damage taken and same Life gem.

i went from 500gph to 430gph and from 0 death per hour to 10 dph

i don't see how this is working for you guys and how this should be an upgrade? Maybe things are different with 200k dps unbuffed, or i am wrong or something...

I use the sam frenzy / rend build

I don?t know, but it seems you are doing something wrong. All my barbs have 120k DPS+ using full IK Set and the classic WW Build. (normally they have 0 deaths per hour on MP1)
Get a decent Skorn around 1300 DPS and "Life after Kill"
 
that just means you died once in the first few minutes.
run it for a few hours before jumping to conclusions.

also, we're all talking bout ww build, not frenzy/rend.

dont use the frenzy rend build, all these people use WW
 
ok ill give WW build a go? is that with frenzy as primary or WW as primary and rend as secondry? or classic WW with bash instigation?

i waited and hour or 2, deaths still at 10 dph, gold dropped even to 350 gph.

i got some cheap skorn with 1350 dps, 150 crit, 300 str, got 6% life steal total.

Maybe its the andariels helm?
 
reached 600 GPH and 600 IPH, not bad for few mil upgrades :) but i used Cleave+WW
