[GB2] Would you say it's safe?

Would you say it's relatively safe to bot GB2 with the following:

  • 100% Monitored
  • Speaking in Guild, Whisper and General
  • Only letting it run for an hour
  • Private profile (only I have it)
  • Outside of Vot4W/Jade

I've looked at people saying it goes based on a pattern so if I follow the same pattern more than once would I get flagged? (I know it's only only a theory...)

I've been botting for a fairly long time now but I haven't used GB2 recently. Just wondering what others would advise under those circumstances.
 
if you make youre own profiles yes its safer then. i use badboy addon and putted it on lvl 90 so i dont get mad whispers from other botters ingame.

Btw, what plugins do you use?

Some tips

- PPP
- logmeout
- declineall
- anti zigzagging plugin

Wow... Linking me to outdated information assuming I haven't already read it like 3 or 4 times. Questioned GB2 with it at the moment due to all the bans. Things have changed since 2011 sometimes you need to do more to avoid the ban hammer. Next time use some common sense before making a LQ post.

I have all of those addons at the moment ^^ I assume anti zigzag is GatherDismount? As the poster before you said I also use the Badboy addon :) I'm quite safe and my setup is bulletproof, just wondering on the chances of getting caught recently that's all.
 
No one can tell u if is safe or not because no one knows how the new blizzard detection method works.

Take a good look at the ban section, some people got banned in less than 1 hour of GB.

U should stay away from gb2 at its current state until the devs release an update for it.

There are other ways to make gold with the same efficiency.
 
No, it's not safe to bot. It's dangerous! You could lose everything twice! The angry Blizzardo is after you. You must hide! Unless you just like to bot. In that case, come on out and play with me. :-)
 
Short and simple: No, it is not safe to use Gatherbuddy at the moment!

Even with the best precautions, they can still catch you, simply checking your behaviour: Do you Gather 8 hours a day for a month?
=> Most likely you're a bot, I've never seen a person say: "WoW is so much fun, I herb and mine the whole day :)!"

So: No it is not safe! If you are not willing to risk your account, do not gather on it!

Just use GB2 as much as you want! i do...and i do not get banned...i farm over 20,000 raw matts a night...and still skip the bans, Dont use public profiles..dont use the same path every night...BOT BOT BOT!....You are using a third party program/bot you are going to get banned one day anyway.....so make the most of it. GB2 is a safe as it has always been, blizzard are just apparently *****ing down harder. The biggest reason for bans is botters reporting botters.

what also avoid the gb2 bans is making your own profile dont share them with anyone i would never share my own made profiles:) also turn on randomise hotspot in gb2.
 
Hm mixed responses, leaning more towards not safe though. Guess I'll stick to my dailies, try find a supplier and just knuckle down with my professions for a while till GB2 (hopefully GB3 soon) has been overhauled.

I never use public profiles but going into the ban section you'll never get an accurate idea as the only people that view that forum are cautious botters and people who have been banned. So I don't really know how many haven't been banned.

Guess I'll stick to staying as safe as possible, thanks for all your input.

Don't listen to this fool. He's trying to get you banned. Blizz is hitting EU servers, hard.
