[GB2] [N] 50 Profiles for Each Zone with Random Hotspots!

Maybe a dumb question but how do I link the "Monitors.xml" to the Honorbuddy?

There isn't a profle path on the Arelog that I can see and it won't work if I add it manually, am I missing something ? :D

You don't have to load anything. When you install Arelog from the zip, it creates a file named Monitors.xml. This file contains the configuration for Arelog (this is what determines the content that will be shown in the main window. You can find this file in the same folder where Arelog.exe is (make sure you created a character first in the Arelog application). You don't have to load it anywhere, it's a configuration file for Arelog and it loads automatically when you open Arelog. Make sure you edit Monitors.xml as shown in the second post.

So even if I had profile pre-loaded on Honorbuddy already it will override that one and just do what Arelog wants ? ^^

Using this for awhile now with ARelog (followed your 2nd post). Is it normal for it to close HB and restart it every few minutes?

Is that AReloger save ?
i had read in ban section some ppl get banned because using AReloger

Yes, it will override Honorbuddy every time the next scheduled action takes place.

If by "every few minutes" you mean every 30 minutes or so, then yes. If you mean 3-5 minutes then no, it's not normal. I'm going to need more information to help you if that's the case.

It's up to you. No one knows for sure. I'm sure you can get banned using any relogger. I always use ARelog, I get banned as well, but so do the people that use HBRelog so... your call.

first of all: very nice profiles.
combined with the monitors.xml tweak it is working like a charm.

one question though:
seeing the post above, i checked the timing between the restarts of HB: it seems that when the time for the task is up, HB shuts down and restarts, making the bot stop in midair. is there any possible way, to not get HB shut down by arelog?

thanks,

TripleM

I see, thanks for explaining the issue by the way.

I believe the reason why ARelog does that is because it "thinks" the next action requires a HB restart, as in, changing botbase. Since changing profile also requires to bot to stop and then start again, I'm afraid it might not be fixable.

However, here's a possible solution. (I've edited the F.A.Q with the new code, try it)

Instead of the lines you pasted, leave the tag BotName="GatherBuddy2" empty instead, so it looks like BotName=""

Example code:

<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 15.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 41.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 31.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 21.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 22.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 33.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 44.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 6.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />
<Task BotName="" ProfilePath="C:\Users\user\Desktop\Bots\Profiles\Valley of the Four Winds 2.xml" RunTime="0.08" RunCount="0" Randomize="true" ChangeCharacter="false" Realm="" CharName="" CustomClass="" />

Let me know if that fixed it. If it didn't then I'm sorry, it's ARelog's fault, not mine.

Optionally, you can (if you have the time) set up the same routine in HBRelog, but since I don't know how to access its Monitors.xml file, it will take much longer.

Edit: Added HBRelog guide. It's in the second post. Have fun.

ok, after i try ARelog and HBrelog the result its same both of them. After Profile Task finished both of them reseting HB from the begining again.

Oh yea - i had try the new methode on your 2nd post, but this time HB and WoW closed after Schedule Task finished.

Damn, that sucks. I am currently using another method (not free) but I came up with the Arelog/HBRelog idea to compensate.

However, you can just increase the runtime on the profiles so it doesn't reset as often. You will be losing randomization but your bot won't be stopping as often.

Nice, will give it a whirl one day soon, just gotta figure what to do with all the herbs and ore these days :0

Well, I still craft stuff and post on AH

Farmer Acc -> Crafter Acc -> Banker/AH Acc -> Gold Mule

Of course you don't need that many accounts but that's how I do it

thanks for the idea. i did what yousaid and arelog didn't start wow, it just did nothing at all. -> log:View attachment 22.07.2013_11_07 3004 Log.txt

after that, i changed the second line, it started normally with the first profile, then when the time was up, arelog stopped wow -> log: View attachment 22.07.2013_22_38 3308 Log.txt

do you have any other idea, how to fix this?

Nope, I'm empty. There's nothing I can do if that's how ARelog works. I'm working on coding a plugin which switches profiles but it won't be soon.

Sorry friend, other than that all you can do is Increase the profile RunTime to 0.5 (30 minutes) and then switch to another so HB doesn't restart too often.

mkay, still thanks for the ideas :)

i already randomized the times between changes and made them longer.
so, apart from that rather small hickup, this is by far the best idea i've seen around here for easy randomizing profiles.

thanks a lot and keep up the good work.

Haha, thanks. There's still randombuddy if you need random profiles though. This is just an alternate method.

Anyway, thanks for testing :)

It seems to work fine, except that during the profile change process it closes the Honorbuddy process, and launches a new one with the next profile in the script. It's how HBRelog works and as I explained before, I can't provide a solution for Closing/Opening.

However, what did work for me to avoid "Max Sessions" is I disabled the checkbox that says "Check for HB Responsiveness" and then it stopped doing it.

Hope that helped. :)
